The hotel is very well located only 5 mins walk from the main line railway station. The rooms were clean, spacious and the design allowed a lot of natural light. The staff were friendly and efficient, the bar prices were reasonable and the breakfast very good indeed. A lot of work has obviously been put into making this a very welcoming environment.
This was a short family break and we will definitely return again next year.

第一次住到這麼好的酒店，因為愛丁堡沒想象的好玩，所以少住了一天來到卡萊爾，沒想到遇到這麼有家的感覺的酒店，如果你是一家四口來歐洲除非你訂兩個房間，否則房間小的你無法想象，這裏衹要訂一個套房，跟家裡一樣，廚房什麼的都有！當晚就去買了食材來做了！

Exceptionally good 3 night stay in a 2 bed 2 bath penthouse. From arrival to departure, all the staff were so helpful, professional, and friendly. The apartment was absolutely spot on for 3 of us, 2 lovely bedrooms, a comfy sitting room with a modern kitchen. Little touches, crumpets, jam, tea, coffee, milk, and bottled water all added to the overall welcome. We ate in the hotel restaurant 2 evenings as it was so good. The location is perfect, and only minutes walk from the shopping area, castle, cathedral, restaurants, cafes, and pubs. I have no hesitation in recommending Halston Hotel and hope to return. Thank you for a superb stay.

We only used the bar before going to the whiskey festival that was being held there. The staff were very polite. The bar was very clean. The room the festival was in, was quite small and packed. The festival was good. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but found 4 I liked. Didn't have food or a room in the hotel, but if the bar area was anything to go bu. I'm sure the rooms must be perfect

Excellent stay at the Halston, accommodation is exceptional for the price. Prices in bar area very reasonable, staff couldn’t be any more accommodating to make sure you enjoy your stay. Car park operated by the hotel with 20% discount for guests is an added bonus.
