A wonderful place to stay at 🥰 Sabine and Mathijs have been the most welcoming hosts and we stayed in the gîte Mandarinier. Amazingly renovated and well equipped for a family with two teenage girls 😊 Breakfast is delicious with homemade jams. Mathijs gave us many useful tips to discover the region. A perfect spot to start exploring the Cévennes National Parc.

The stay at L‘orangerie de cardet was great and relaxing. The apartment I stayed in was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly inviting—perfect for relaxing and feeling at home. The entire property is very well managed, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. It’s clear that a lot of love and care goes into running this place—nothing was missing, and every need was anticipated. What truly sets L’Orangerie apart, though, are the wonderful hosts. I will definitely come back.

It was a very good place and lot of nice things to visit around Garden and swimming pool was appreciated with birds Owner of house was very friendly and nice with us all along our stay Food was great and done on place everything home made I recommended it

Charming village experience
Great experience. Quaint inn with charming rooms. The host was very nice and the breakfast, although more carbs than I’m used to, was delicious with fresh baked croissant and home made fruit preserves from their property or nearby. Highly recommend.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This was an accidental one-night visit, as we found ourselves too tired to complete our planned cycling route. An online search revealed a few options close by, and this one looked promising. What good fortune. Mathijs and Sabine were friendly hosts. The room was charming and bed comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. We loved the ambiance in this tranquil location. Even the pizza dinner at the nearby campground exceeded expectations. My wife and I would love to visit again and spend more time.

This is a great place to stay and enjoy the area. Close to the river Gardon, where swimming is possible, the place is in a typical ancient village of the Cévène back country. The house is great, with thick walls and large common areas and the garden is very large, also includes a swimming pool. The host are very friendly and welcoming.

I stayed for a week in one of Sabine and Mathijs' beautiful gites. A comfortable bed, a delicious breakfast with home-made jam every day and total relaxation ensued. The surroundings are beautiful, lovely towns, the beach, a beautiful hinterland, all within an hour's drive. I definitely recommend this location. Mathijs and Sabine are fantastic patrons. Next year again.

We had a wonderful stay, and the breakfast was terrific. Charming place, will definitely be back. The town is very quiet and is located in a perfect location for a stop on your way to the mountains. The host is incredibly welcoming.
