visited Carden park with my daughter for a mothers day stay, Saturday to Sunday. We enjoyed a lovely swim in the pol on Saturday afternoon and again Sunday morning before breakfast. We had cocktails and dinner in the very special Vines restaurant on Saturday evening. The food is cooked to perfection and the service is excellent. We were made to feel very welcome and the menu/ drinks etc explained to us by waitress Georgia. She was so warm and friendly without being over the top. The room was at the back of the hotel and very spacious, we had a double bed each, the bathroom , toiletries (Moulton Brown) and tea/ coffee facilities were lovely and plenty of TV channels which allowed us to relax and unwind . There was also a small table in the room for having a drink or playing cards . The furnishings are comfy and clean .
Breakfast was well cooked and well stocked buffet style despite it being very busy that morning. We didn't feel rushed to check out as we were informed that we could use the pool again after checkout if we wished which was a nice touch.
Carden parks surroundings are just beautiful and quiet for a tranquil stay . We didn't visit the new spa but checked it out and will definitely return . We would recommend this lovely hotel for a stay with family, friends etc

We’ve stayed at this hotel at least 30 times and have always loved it. Very impressive view from the driveway and Morgan’s bar is always lovely. Redmonds restaurant is very nice with a lovely view for breakfast. We’d booked a standard double and as they were busy had put us in an accessible room which we didn’t like at all and didn’t need. Had all of the handles etc that the accessible bathroom needs including a shower chair! It therefore had no bath. The restaurant isn’t cheap but we knew that as regular customers and the food and service is excellent. I personally don’t like the “discretionary” service charge at 12% (so nearly £11), I like to choose the tip based on the experience and do t want to have to have a discussion for them to remove it.

Our spa stay here was beautiful. The room was very spacious and the courtyard it was in was lovely and peaceful. Our evening meal was yummy and the gluten free menu was extensive which impressed me. The breakfast the next morning was perfect, plenty of options available (the sausages were excellent). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa was gorgeous. The autumn cocktail was rather sweet but the pumpkin spiced latte was nice, the gentleman on the bar was happy to go and get me decaf from elsewhere. Our massage was lush! The spa is world-class.

Only stayed for 1 night. Receptionist was lovely- very friendly. Got into room early. 2 couples with men playing golf on both days which they enjoyed. Courses and grounds very well maintained. We ate in the Brasserie- the food was lovely and reasonable prices. Our rooms were nicely decorated and bed was very large and comfortable. Shower was great- lovely and hot with large, fluffy towels. Lots of different areas to sit and have a drink and we found all the staff very courteous. Will definitely return as we didn't get the chance to use the spa or leisure facilities.

We were three couples and had a wonderful relaxing break. Great staff all very friendly and helpful which made for a welcoming experience. Beautifully spacious building and rooms. We were in king size hotel rooms overlooking front which were tastefully decorated. Free water and milk in mini fridge, nespresso machine, robes and slippers. Breakfast plentiful and very well presented and prepared. Ate in Redmonds Brasserie twice, a few hiccups but all resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Good menu and reasonable wine list, nice relaxed atmosphere. Car charging was an issue but not hotels problem, manager came out to help and it was resolved. We didn’t use spa facilities but had a look round and a drink in the bar there, it looked wonderful. Staff once again very welcoming and friendly. We had lunch in the clubhouse which is at the back of the site up a steep hill and a staff member in a buggy offered me a lift as I was on crutches. Grounds very well kept and a good driving range. Pool in the hotel with saunas and steam room, and a large jacuzzi was lovely, towels, lockers provided, changing rooms exceptionally clean. Small gym but adequate. Would happily return as there is so much to do in local area if you run out of on site activities.

Wonderful. Hotel, food, golf courses - all exceptional. And great value. Despite the wet windy conditions the courses were in excellent condition and we had two great games over the two courses. Slight gripe RE slow play on the Saturday/Cheshire course but it was peak Saturday.

Just returned from a two night stay at the hotel in a newly refurbished room over looking the front garden and Nicklaus course. Having been recommended by a colleague we were not sure what to expect. First impression is the five minute drive from the road to car park through the extensive grounds winding around golf course, beautiful view of the hotel as you arrive. Checked in on line and no issues when we collected our keys, staff very helpful and friendly. Room, even though spotless, large and new had something missing and I can’t put my finger on what was missing to make the room 5 star. (My wife missed the magnifying mirror that’s normally in the top hotels). We didn’t eat in the hotel but had nothing but rave reviews from my colleague. The leisure centre in the hotel is outstanding, quite possibly the best we have used at any top rated hotel. All public areas are beautiful and the real fires everywhere make for such a homely atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, go early as it gets busy with the ‘Ping’ crowd. Anyone visiting Chester area we would highly recommend this hotel, 25 minutes from both City and Outlets.
