"Very nice staff and employees. Service was good, just not exceptional. The facility was old, but that was to be expected. Bathrooms could use a bit more space for toiletries and hair supplies. The bathroom was not accommodating for two individuals to ready themselves at the same time. We didn’t eat there much, however what we did have was very good."

"The room is clean and bright, but it can only look at the sea from the side. Ctrip's resources are limited. In fact, there are many hotels facing the sea that can be booked. However, this hotel is small and beautiful, and the parking space is a bit tight."

"My husband and I needed a quick get away. We spent two nights at The Mason Cottage. It was an exceptional stay. The property and room were incredibly clean. I loved our room, Davis, for it's separate living room with a fireplace, it's chess table (I got to play my husband for the first time ever--we've been married 20 years), and it's double jacuzzi tub. The bedroom was the perfect temperature and very comfortable. The hosts gave us just the amount of space we needed, with options to hang out downstairs and to have coffee / tea anytime we wanted. The location was also excellent--a short walk to the best restaurants and to the beach. I highly recommend."

Congress Hall ★★★★
"Overall accommodations were as expected.  Room was clean.  Service was good.  Nice historic hotel.  My only complaint would be very low water pressure for showering."

The Mason Cottage Downtown ★★★★
"A very charming and comfortable property. Hosts Eric and Rochelle were warm with the perfect balance of hospitality, local knowledge and thoughtful touches. The room exceeded expectations and the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. We took Eric's recommendations of where to have dinner and hear some live music and it was perfect."

The Star Inn ★★★
"The employees are amazing and the room was very clean. The only downside is the that room we stayed in was next to the employee closet for cleaning supplies. The morning was loud because they were starting to clean the rooms. It was great other than that!"

Montreal Beach Resort ★★★
"Very nice, very clean updated room. We were in room 301- so no view or balcony- but you could step outside and walk around and look at the water (which is across the street)-BUT people do walk by the front of your room, in front of the sliding glass doors, so if you don't want that, book room with a view- they have balconies and you cannot walk in front of them.Check in was a breeze and Diane was very efficient and informative. We only stayed 1 night, but chose not to go to the pool because we came on a Sunday, thinking it would be quiet and chill. The bar is right next to the heated pool and there was a band, so it was not quiet- nothing wrong with it- just not what we were looking for. Beach was gorgeous. They have a jitney that takes you to town and towels available that you can also take to the beach. Keurig, microwave and mini-fridge in each room as well as a safe and robes. Well-lit at night and felt safe walking to my room solo. AC worked wonderfully - I should have brought an extra blanket. Water pressure was a little weak but doable. Only negatives- beds were pretty soft and the pillows were terrible- bring your own."
