Coin de Mire Attitude

It was very nice and clean

We have just had an amazing 10 nights at Coin De Mire Hotel and had the most relaxing enjoyable stay. From check in to check out the hotel employees were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Everything has been thoroughly thought through so every guests feels welcome and informed. We had a lovely 2 bedroom suite, you have a mini fridge, coffee making facilities and a mini safe. Rooms cleaned every day. The pool and bar area are great to enjoy the sunshine and the bar staff work very hard. Always remembered your favourite drink. The food choice at mealtimes was varied, we never ate a bad meal. The hotel is situated on a wonderful beach, however a 20 min to the left via the beach or road takes you to another wonderful beach called Pereybere beach, it is great for kids as the beach is lovely and soft. We were lucky enough to have dolphins come and play with us while swimming. The hotel was great at arranging taxis into Grand Baie. I used the spa which was lovely and responsible priced. We also did the catamaran boat trip organised via reception and can’t recommend it enough. Overall a fantastic holiday and we will be back.

My stay at Coin de Mire 6-15 October 2025 was in one word: GREAT! The accomodation looks beautiful and modern. Although its a 3 star hotel, you will have everything you could think of: gym, spa, laundry service, 2 swimmingpools, 2 restaurants and beach in front of hotel! The staff in general is amazing...always friendly and helpful. Every day i was welcomed with a smile! For example: Raees, the animator was there in the morning to recommend interesting excursions to me, at 5pm he took me for a walk to a nice sunset and a few hours later he was DJ-ing in the hotelbar and making people dance! Also the 2 bartenders Tesaven and Nana were new in the team but already understood hospitality and service with a smile! The food in the restaurant was quite extensive at breakfast and dinner/buffet. For Lunch i could order a la carte (beef, fish) and there is 2nd restaurant Kot Nou where you can try real local Mauritian flavours! Gorret and Chevrina were my favourite waitresses! Coin de Mire is well located only 4 km from Grand Baie and 2 km from Cap Malheureux. At the beach of the hotel you could book several excursions to Chamarel, Ile Aux Cerf, Le Morne, Port Louis etc. Coine de Mire hotel is absolutely recommended by me! Go & Try to visit!

Fabulous hotel, spacious rooms, delicious food with lots of choices, excellent cocktails , great evening entertainments, lovely local food served during the day, nice pool area, and what is the best- STAFF!!! Can’t even say enough good things about the staff in the hotel - they were so so nice and very very helpful - they would do anything to you - all requests were made within a blink an eye and with lovely smile - and doesn’t matter what time of the day or night. Bar staff was so nice to us and also entertainment staff did all to keep us happy Definitely will be back again !!!! Such a special and wonderful place to visit Fully recommended

Fantastic holiday doing just what you want to do. Lay round the pool or wander to the beach and sea, to use the complimentary water sport equipment in the cove just across the road. Variety of eating places within the hotel including the TabaJ street food hut where the chef Leena produces beautiful food and sweet treats. Nandeeni is so friendly and helpful working alongside Leena, and continues looking after you in the main dining area (Le Cap.) Staff in the bar area, (Le Shaker) really look after you, the standouts being Jayraj and Aviseen, always keeping an eye on your needs. Entertainment is a priority for Raees and Didier who continually check on keeping you happy. Kot Nou restaurant offers the chance to sample Mauritian cuisine in a tapas style dining experience An abundance of choices. This is an Eco Committed hotel and it is easy to see the efforts they go to. All the staff are friendly and polite and are concerned that you get the best service available. Ideal place to recharge those batteries. Congratulations to all the staff involved and highly recommended.
