The tv didn’t work, couldn’t check in and had to wait 45 min for a key. Never got a key, manager had to let us in and the shower was nasty af! Nope!!

A great location - many restaurants and other stores within driving distance (under 15 min). The hotel is clean and run by a very friendly staff. The rooms were well stocked and clean. Updated bathrooms and furniture.

Worst Hotel experience ever and most incompetent Manager, Jamie, unable to interact with guest in a professional manner. October 11, 2025 we attended a family wedding with a block of rooms reserved in advance for the wedding guest. Our rooms were not ready at the 3:00pm check in so the provided a space on the first floor for us all to dress for the wedding. We were all shuttled from the hotel to the wedding, Jamie, assured us our rooms would be ready when we returned. When we returned to the Fairfield by Marriott South Canton we were informed there were not enough rooms and some of our reservations were cancelled. Leaving family & guest to either stay with a family or friend or to drive 2-3 hours home due to their poor planning and complete incompetence to communicate with their customer!

The best part of this hotel is the staff! I had an issue in my room that the staff acted upon quickly and gave me another room without hesitation. They also gave me points to my Bonvoy account for my inconvenience. Overall, this is a clean hotel with comfortable beds and excellent staff. It has upgraded amenities and furniture; however, in my second room, the toilet was difficult to flush properly. If I had reported that to the staff I am 100% positive that they would help me fully. I would recommend staying on the side of the hotel that does not face the highway since road noise is loud. I did not try the breakfast, but a lot of people seemed to be enjoying it! I felt comfortable and safe in this hotel by myself as a woman. I would stay here again with the request to have my room not face the highway. I know I can count on the staff here to make me feel welcome and to solve any issues that arise.

Hotel was very clean and rooms very comfortable. Nicely furnished. Free Breakfast was very good. It is in a good location to about anywhere in Canton. This hotel outclasses other hotels that are supposed to be above it. Not overpriced in my opinion. I travel frequently and try to stay in a Marriott affiliated hotel since I am a Marriott Bonvoy member.
