I checked into Country Inn Canton GA yesterday with a clear written confirmation for a room with two queen size beds for myself and my 17 year old son. Instead, I was given a room with one king size bed. Even after I showed the front desk my email confirmation proving that I had booked two queens, I was told their system showed a king room and they refused to acknowledge the documentation I provided. What makes this even more frustrating is that nothing has been done to fix the issue, even after an entire day. No room change. No guidance. No credit. No attempt to accommodate us or correct their mistake. Just indifference and a refusal to help. It is completely unacceptable to ignore written proof of a reservation, especially when a mother and teenage son are expected to share one bed because of the hotel’s error. I am still waiting for the room I reserved, paid for, and can clearly document. I genuinely hope management takes this seriously and addresses this immediately.

I had seen other reviews about sticky carpet. I stayed in room 202 and they are right. You can feel the stickiness even with shoes on. I had to wear socks the entire time I was in the room.

Layout of property was good, room carpet was disgusting though. Needs to be replaced, not just cleaned. Left bare feet black with dirt (like muddy feet when stepping into shower).

This hotel was disgusting. The hotel room was so damp inside that our shoes felt wet in the morning. Then a couple hours after we checked out, we started noticing bug bites which we determined were bed bug bites. I've reached out to the hotel and corporate with no response. I would NOT recommend staying here.

The air conditioner was noisy and kept the room very damp. The room smelled of smoke and the water pressure in the shower was very low.

Comfy beds/thin walls
First off as we walk in, terrible attitude from the front desk. Had the wrong room, we ordered 2 kings and got 1 queen and a couch bed. I had made a reservation about 2 weeks prior. She tried to tell me that I booked online, so they couldn’t guarantee. Anyway they move us to another room the next day. The walls were thin and I could hear 1 man coughing on one side. The other side a man kept going in and out his room and slammed his door about 11 pm. I asked at the front desk if he was checking out soon. They receptionist said yes he was checking out the next day. Well he may have been gone 1 day because he came right back.
Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and the towels smelled good and clean. They only give you towels every 3rd day. We stayed a week. We kept having to ask for towels. No trash pickup or straightening up the room.
Breakfast was hot and a good selection. Coffee was good too.
