The location of the hotel is great! The room given to us could see the sea, and the facilities were good. The bath water was very hot, and the room size was suitable. Even during the National Day and Friday, the price was really expensive!
The service was very good. We arrived early and they helped us arrange early check-in. There was also free beer time on Friday. I went to try it. There were all kinds of strange-tasting beers🍻. It’s hard to describe. At the same time, there are free cookies at the front desk🍪. American cookies are so sweet!

We stayed as a last minute getaway for our anniversary and had a wonderful stay. Excellent location! Haystack is right there! And we enjoyed a short walk to all the shops & restaurants. Service was great too! We will be back.

The advertised “Haystack view” is completely misleading, it’s actually a parking lot view with no ocean in sight. The fireplace is fake, the pool is tiny and outdated, and nothing about this place justifies $700 per night. Total rip-off. Never again.

The Surfsand Resort is an established hotel with remodeled rooms. The location is fabulous if you have an oceanfront room. We booked the executive suite and loved it. Everything was very clean, housekeeping did an excellent job! There are a too many (3) TVs, one in each room, including the bathroom, where it was mounted at an odd angle above the sink. The suite also had plenty of coffee pods (6! which I loved) a bottle of wine, 4 bottled waters per day and a candy treat. Parking is tight and parking areas were resurfaced while we were here. Our car had gotten several scratches on it overnight, not sure it happened. Sadly, the communal s’mores bar and fire pit aren’t available until June. However, the cookies in the lobby are excellent. Would recommend hotel for cleanliness and proximity to beach.

very nice staff. we were given a beautiful room with an ocean view, on the first line. it was an incredible experience. if you want wine or a fire, you can order it in the room at a nice price. very valuable. we will be back again!!

This place was amazing! The staff was so attentive. They never let my room run out of anything. The room was completely updated with modern amenities and everything worked. The view and beach are breathtaking. The fire that the resort makes every night for the the guests with smores is so nice. I also love how the resort amenities are all from local businesses including the coffee and welcome drinks. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone should come here for a relaxing and luxurious vacation.

Where to start. Front desk staff was exceptionally welcoming and I loved the rootbeer from Public Coast Brewing I got at check-in. The room: stunningly clean for being steps from the sand. Fireplace with a remote control. Projector to watch stars on the ceiling. Motion activated lights so you don’t trip on stuff in the dark. A bathroom straight from a magazine spread. Oh, it was heaven. The only thing missing is a desk, which meant I couldn’t work - and that is also worthy of an additional star. Although I didn’t take advantage of it, I love the “adults only” hours for the swimming pool. I absolutely would stay here again.
