Perfect family vacation spot!
We loved our 3 night stay at the Borinquen Thermal Resort! The food was delicious, including the complimentary breakfast buffet. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We traveled with another family and together our 3 kids had a blast! We loved the natural pools and hot tubs, mud bath, trails, horseback riding adventure, and bird watching on the grounds. Everything was very reasonable and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We would come again!

The reason I rated 4 out of 5 is the only absence insect protective meshes on all doors and windows, so the room was permanently full of diverse crawlers and fliers, except mosquitos. No mosquitos. And AC unit installed such a way that it is blowing directly on the beds, so we cannot use it at nights, and we we were not able to open windows or doors because of the absence of protective meshes. No good rest.

Beautiful, amazing, wonderful, awsome...... how many words there are to describe this place. In the mountains, miles from anywhere, an oasis of tranquility and luxury to experience the wonders of nature. Our accommodation was first class, set amongst trees full of monkeys and toucans. Great food, great service. We stayed for 2 nights as part of our Riviera Tours but would have loved a 3rd night here too.

Everything was perfect and all employees were courteous except the ladies at reception that work in the morning I believe one of the girls name is Sofia and her attitude is so bad and doesn’t even greet customers acts as if she eats scorpions on a daily basis passing the poison to customers. I have stayed at borinquen 3 times and next time I go if they are still there at check in I will definitely bring it to their attention about their bad attitudes.

The property is majestic, the staff capable and always ready to assist. The staff that maintain the property are so kind and amazing at their jobs. They have passion for the property and are experts at what they do. This property is unique as you get to enjoy all the amenities while looking at monkeys, lizards, birds, panthers, etc. In their natural habitat. The drive to the resort is part of the experience as you are on a road to a wonderful adventure.
