What a wonderful place with amazing staff, Zack, one of the bar staff always smiling and constantly check everyone was OK, restaurant staff friendly and seem to be none stop clearing plates checking if people needed anything, food need little more choice, reception staff so helpful, again constantly smiling and always friendly, I would go back again, thank you for the amazing stay

Firstly I'd say read the reviews with an open mind!. We are leaving here today and have had a brilliant stay, all inclusive. We arrived around 21.45 & Aimee was so friendly on reception, checking us in and giving us all the info we needed. As we'd missed the evening meal, they'd prepared us a cold salad with meat and cheeses, which we really appreciated. The bar staff are so hardworking and accommodating, zack and Martin especially. There was always something tasty to eat at meal times. Lots of sea food, soups & pasta. I'm a vegetarian & never struggled to find something to have. The restaurant staff are also so helpful and hardworking. The pool area is clean and we could always get a sun lounger too. My partner has a disability which meant we needed an accessible room and we got a lovely spacious one, right next to the lifts on the 5th floor. It's in a fabulous location 5 mins from bars and beach & we enjoyed the flamenco dancers and band that was on. Loved our stay here & will definitely be back again. Thanks :)

It's such a shame to leave this review. The hotel it's self downstairs is clean and staff are lovely the entertainer is the hotel is so friendly and nice however the entertainment could improve m. We have put this down to our of season the darts were a good laugh throughout the day though. The rooms were adequate could do with updating however the lack of cleaning in the room throughout the stay wasn't great, no clean towels unless we asked and we even had to go and ask for toilet roll and move our own cups etc out of the room. The room wasn't mopped or cleaned for 5 days. The food was horrible cold, looked undercooked and was basically inedible. We came all inclusive and spent as much eating out every day as we paid to stay there which was disappointing. We will be speaking to love holidays as this is unacceptable Luckily we didn't let it ruin our holiday and the fact that the staff downstairs were friendly helped

We recently stayed at the Markus and had a great experience overall. The hotel is very good, but what really stood out was the excellent service and friendliness of the staff — starting from the Reception and continuing with the Bar and Restaurant. A special mention to Zak at the Bar, who was extremely helpful and attentive, and to Rosio at Reception, who kindly assisted us with the hotel Wi-Fi. Everyone we interacted with was professional and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely look forward to coming back!

Returned home yesterday from this gem of a hotel . Hotel is rather dated but spotlessly clean . Maids cleaned daily always leaving fresh towels and clean bedding. Staff are amazing. Special thanks to Aimee ( I complained to her there were no English Channels on our TV, she explained it was a problem and they were trying to fix it . )The day after she rang to say it was hopefully fixed and could we try our TV.!!! Lots of English Channels then. Rocio also lovely on reception . Bar staff Zack and Jorge were also lovely , nothing was too much trouble . Fantastic location for Ca'n Picafort and buses to other areas . We were there 10 days food very good at first but then became a little repetitive. My one big gripe was the entertainment or lack of it . Extensive board showing lots of entertainment but no day time entertainment what so ever , night time apart from one singer was a man playing music of a lap top who spoke little English. Entertainment in resort was very low key too . Our favourite bar was The Red Lion and we also liked The London Bar . Would I return ? If the price was right - definitely.

Nice and clean. Staff very pleasant. If you like to eat fish most nights then you will be fine if you go all inclusive. The spa pool nice a warm Only down side the night entertainment isn't very good could do with more sort of different things.
