Oramai è la quarta volta che veniamo e ci siamo sempre trovati non bene ma benissimo i proprietari sono persone serie molto disponibili e curano ogni desiderio del cliente sono molto rapidi nel risolvere piccoli o grandi inconvenienti che in un soggiorno possono capitare… a noi è capitato che l aria condizionata avesse un problema l abbiamo segnalato e subito c’è stato portato un condizionatore in camera quindi problema risolto…,poi si può usufruire del pranzo o cena in camera idem della colazione quindi il fatto dei sette km lontano dalla struttura e’ una sciocchezza una volta che decido di uscire scendo faccio colazione e vado dove devo andare… ripeto tutto il personale con cui si ha a che fare e’ molto professionale e educato dai camerieri alle bariste alle signore delle pulizie… grazie per i bei giorni passati al castello ci vediamo presto …

Wonderful place, the castle has very well-kept, warm and very very clean mini apartments... the staff who manage the structure convey all their love for it to you... Very well-kept spacious apartment.... Bathroom with spacious and very hot showers… truly a place worth it…. There is also a coffee pod machine and a tea kettle for free use refilled by the cleaning ladies... waiting to go down to where the restaurant is outside the castle about 7 km away but believe me it doesn't weigh at all go down for breakfast and then continue the day in the surrounding area….the restaurant then serves magnificent food at absolutely fair prices…. What can I say, everything is very, very well looked after, you feel pampered, a place to unplug

A truly magnificent recovery, although not yet completed in some portions adjacent to the walls. A return to the Middle Ages with a breathtaking view from one of the best restored towers. Unfortunately, only a couple of eyesores (it is inevitable that someone wants to leave a sign of modernity at the expense of beauty). Absolutely worth visiting.

Bellissima esperienza vivere in castello. Solo nelle favole? No, qui é possibile. Bello il castello, bellissima la veduta. L'appartamento ampio è con caratteristiche confacenti al contesto generale. L'unica cosa per me negativa la colazione al bar che dista km. 7 dal castello percorsi su una strada abbastanza impegnativa.

Lasciata la valle, la strada porta gradualmente ad aggirare la collina, fino a trovarsi di fronte uno spettacolare castello medievale sulla cima. Oltrepassato l'arco di ingresso, si resta senza fiato. Un meraviglioso castello completamente recuperato, con le case, la chiesetta, la fortezza, stradine, scalette, ponti e fontane: un salto nel tempo. La "camera" in realtà è un mini appartamento, denominato Suite della pace, mai nome fu così azzeccato. Un angolo cottura, una camera enorme con salottino e poltrone, un bagno grande e ben attrezzato. Travi di legno sul tetto spiovente, finestre sul castello da un lato e una visione mozzafiato sull'intera valle sottostante dall'altro. Spazio, pace, benessere, rilassamento, sorriso, emozioni positive. Ci ritorneremo volentieri, appena possibile. Colazione ed eventualmente cena presso il ristorante Fonti del Clitunno, presso l'omonimo parco.

Although a lovely (but hard to find) location and a good room this was not what we expected. No one was around when we arrived (although we advised arrival time in advance) and we had to enquire at a nearby hotel about obtaining access to our room. We were advised to phone for help and had to wait 20 mins for someone to arrive. The rooms are managed by a restaurant business some 7km away. The so called breakfast is in this restaurant and consists of coffee and a cake from the bar. Although the staff were charming and the room was good this did not make up for the dreadful check in arrangements. Avoid or take your chance.
