Four Points by Sheraton Cambridge Kitchener, Ontario

The hotel was terrible overall, rooms are too old and outdated and smelly and AC did not work, very poor front desk service that hung up on me without addressing the AC issue!

OMG, this is a Marriott? The comforter on the bed was worn out, small buttons of filler in the baffles. We were so disgusted I took it to reception to show it off, the employee tried to explain it away. No shampoo to dispense in the shower. The HVAC sounded like a truck. No power to the USB. The television signal was intermittent on most channels. I was not thanked for being a Bonvoy member. Even the parking lot needs a makeover. We were booked for four nights, checked out after one, wouldn’t have stayed even one night but felt it was too late to look around for alternatives.

Front desk lady was rude and not friendly

For the cost of the hotel the TV didn’t work. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the price point

This was my second stay at Four Points, and I returned because my first experience was so positive. At check-in, I was offered the chance to stay in one of their newly renovated rooms, which I gladly accepted. While I’ve stayed in their older rooms before and never had an issue with the design or comfort, the updated rooms are a clear upgrade. Even though there are newer hotels in the area, I chose to come back here because both the older and newer rooms feel clean, comfortable, and not at all dated. The renovated rooms have a more modern look, a larger TV, and an overall refreshed feel. I’ve found all the rooms to be spacious, which is a big plus. A handwritten welcome note and chocolates were waiting for me in the room—thoughtful touches that really made the stay feel special. I also tried the hotel restaurant this time. I ordered a to-go meal and would rate it a 7/10. The chicken in my sandwich was a bit dry, but the convenience was great, and I’d definitely give it another try on my next visit. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. The service, comfort, and thoughtful details continue to impress me, and I’ll certainly be back again.

We exclusively stay at Marriotts and are usually very pleased. Unfortunately this was an awful stay. Our first room smelled of smoke so bad we had to move. In both rooms, the mattresses were so old and saggy. The overall cleanliness was totally lacking. The bathroom had mould between the tiles and the floors were not clean. The elevators and ice machines were broken. The entire place needed a complete overhaul. I will say, Sarah at the front desk was lovely and very helpful.
