"This is a boutique style hotel with attention to detail in furnishings, cleanliness and comfort. It is easily located in the town and there is access to free parking. Service was outstanding, from the welcome at reception, the cleaner, and to the restaurant staff. We had a lovely evening celebrating a birthday in the restaurant, with a warm ambience and amazing food. This was my favorite hotel of our whole trip to New Zealand, we even returned to the town of Cambridge on our way back to the airport to find a Sunday morning market, and purchased a beautiful silver necklace from a local artist. A small touch that was appreciated is that the mini bar in the room is free to guests on the first night which included milk for a coffee or tea, and water, as well as, some local alcoholic beverages to sample."
