"Perfect! A very warm welcome, the room had absolutely everything you could need, even an ashtray for smoking on the balcony. Large dressing room and very modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection, Corsican charcuterie, homemade jams, and several fruit juices."

Hôtel Sole Mare
"The hotel is well located near a small beach and very close to the citadel; everything is within walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The pool is nice. We booked the budget room, but this room is very poorly located because, at the hotel entrance, the window has frosted glass (when open, there's a lot of foot traffic and the smell of cigarettes from people smoking as soon as they leave the hotel; when closed, it's very dark and therefore very dark). The room is quite damp because it can't be properly ventilated. The layout makes the room dark and gives it a "boxy" feel; there's a loggia with a table and the window (it can't really be called a veranda). However, at night it's light inside because of the lights from the hotel entrance; there are no shutters, just a curtain between the room and the loggia. This room should be avoided for several nights; it's only suitable for short stays. Breakfast is good quality, but it's not self-service (one pastry and one roll, one fruit compote, one yogurt, clementine juice – no extra bread provided). Parking is available for an additional fee. The hotel is fairly quiet once guests have left; except for the last night when the night porter was quite noisy with his very late-night phone conversations!"

"We stayed for 2 nights as part of a Corsica Adventures tour. Having read the reviews, we did not have great expectations of the hotel but were pleasantly surprised. Room 301 had on of the best views we have had! The room was clean, modern, standard size, simply but adequately fitted out, with a comfortable enough bed. The bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was fairly ordinary but adequate. Location is ideal. The downside is that the area is very noisy and the rooms are not double glazed so sleep quality was impacted"

"Being a two star hotel you can't expect much. In any case, the room is quite clean, at the reception they are very kind and the beach and the center are only ten minutes walk away. Among the negative aspects: the breakfast is not too abundant, the car park is small and is often full, there is no lift."

"I have stayed in many campsites my entire life, but nothing has ever compared to my stay in Camping Dolce Vita. I was greeted with so much kindness from the staff. During my 2 nights there they helped me find everything that I needed and more. The facility is beautiful, located in the middle of nature surrounded by so much green. It is very clean, organized and very quiet. You wake up with the sounds of the birds. There is wifi, food, bikes to rent and the staff go above and beyond to help you with anything you might need. Thank you so much for the amazing experience! HIGHLY recommend staying here!!"

"A beautiful, quiet residence, conveniently located near the beach and the town center. We had the pleasure of staying at Colomba for a week. The grounds are very green and well-maintained, with a BBQ area including an outdoor kitchen/bar for all guests to use. There's also an enclosure with tortoises, which is great for observing. The air temperatures were already autumnal, and although the sea was a very pleasant water temperature (around 22 degrees Celsius), we really appreciated the heated pool area (around 29 degrees Celsius) after our time at the beach. The hosts were very kind, warm, and attentive!"
Hôtel l'Abbaye
"The large, comfortable and spotlessly clean room overlooked the courtyard and off to the sea. It can be a bit noisy from vehicle traffic but not enough to be bothersome at night if you have the balcony door closed. Convenient walking distance to the centre of town but if I went to Calvi again, I'd choose somewhere more remote, but that's just a personal preference. The breakfast buffet had an assortment of hot and cold dishes on offer - nothing spectacular but fine. I would love people in France to learn how to make a cup of tea, as it's really not hard, just add the teabag to the pot and pour in boiling water. Also milk not cream is a must. The pool area is quite relaxing and love the fluffy towels, thank you! "

"La Signoria is a charming country house style hotel set in beautiful grounds, with magnificent surroundings. Friendly and professional staff always on hand to assist with any requests. Very good food. Lovely swimming pool. We loved the tranquility, and informal atmosphere but with every need catered for. Birdsong, scented shrubs and flowers accentuate the pleasure of being there."

"The welcome from the various employees was very good. The setting is idyllic, quiet and not far from the city. All these beautifully designed homes in all this pine greenery are great. The sea view is fabulous. The bathroom (toilet) is a little cramped. The assigned parking spaces are a little small depending on the vehicle. There is no television to my great surprise but it was written in the services it is just missing for our taste!"

"Great stay until we were charged for everything in the minibar after being explicitly told it was complementary. Upon calling to address this I was repeatedly told that what my partner and I both heard upon check-in was not true. I suppose $40 is the cost of them not having a repeat customer/me suggesting this hotel to everyone I know going to the area."
