We spent two nights. The property was as expected…nothing fancy and not updated but clean. The bed was too hard for me but my husband thought it was fine. Plenty of towels were left and the room was cleaned during the day after our first night which was a surprise. We never had breakfast at the hotel so we can’t comment on that. My expectations for a hotel in the UP are not high but overall this was good. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Breakfast could have been much better. The only hot food there was "make your own waffles". Should be at least one meat and some kind of eggs

Very clean and quiet hotel with great breakfast and pool/sauna. There is a grocery store, a dollar store and a Subway (among other shops) right in the same parking area where if you need something too. It’s relatively close to Michigan Tech and a better value than some of the downtown Houghton places. (And it’s a lot cleaner too!) They also have better availability than other hotels during MTU move in/move out or family weekends.

While the hotel and the rooms were nice and the staff Pleasant and accommodating the problem is with Wyndham corporate. The hotel is not equipped to handle large number of guests trying to take showers. There was no hot water for people to shower with prior to having to leave for a very important graduation ceremony. The corporate office did not care and has not made the recommended updates to the facility to allow for continuous hot water for all guests. Their solution was just wait or take a cold shower. You pay too much money for a hotel to not have the basic amenities. I recommend everyone check to make sure that the hotel has a continuous hot water supply before booking
