Nice resort to relax.

We had an amazing stay at Zilwa. Our room was very clean and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend!

Zilwa Attitude We went there and had a really good stay. The people are warm of heart, kind and help you wherever, however they can. They are truly amazing. The hotel had 4 swimmingpools. The beach was perfect. The lunch at the beach across was really good. Manao, tadka and Kotnou are really good. We enjoyed the all you can eat buffet. It was home food for us. We enjoyed it all. Entertainment. We loved the sega dance. Bollywood Night. We did Miss sonething like game Night or a bingo. Some different things in the evening. But overall it was really good. Some bands were really good. The kids club. I Will give them a 10. They are amazing with the kids. After the renovation we really want to come back. My daughter really likes the treasurehunt, glass boattrip. And much more. It was a pity she had to miss her favorite persons Fatima and Cedra. She really liked them. These girl are really special since we starter our holiday. Shaheen, I really miss you and the aquagym. At the bar wonderfull people just like the diner and lunch. The taxi’s are also good at the hotel. Tip: do not book with the Tui guide at Zilwa. You can enjoy daytrips with a private taxi soo much better. I came to the resort on a Bachelorette party and had the most memorable day. I am visiting from Canada and I’ve never seen anything like Zilwa. This place is breathtaking and every detail is perfect. Amrish on particular made sure that our group was taken care of and enjoyed every minute. It was truly the best day and our whole group felt the care and hospitality that Amrish and the team put in. First trip to Mauritius for my wife and I. What a stunning island, but the jewel in the crown was undoubtedly the Zilwa Attitude Hotel. From the moment we arrived, every member of the Zilwa Attitude staff were so warm, welcoming, polite and professional and managed to achieve this without being overbearing and we all so approachable, helpful and caring. We stayed for 11 nights and made full use of the fantastic selection of restaurants and activities offered by the Zilwa Attitude. We celebrated a birthday while we were there and upon returning to our room, the bed had been decorated, which was an amazing and very thoughtful touch, which made the stay even more memorable and special. Unfortunately, I did not manage to get the name of the staff member who was responsible for servicing our room to say thank you personally, but if the management could find out who was responsible for room 1215 between 18th and 29th September 2025 and recognise their action as it really was amazing. Whilst we visited all of the on site restaurants and found all excellent, the food was fresh, very good selection, not processed and all of top quality, I must make special mention to certain restaurants and staff there. Once seated, your glass was never empty and the service nothing short of efficient and professional and the staff attentive. KARAY - the 'main' buffet restaurant. Buffets can be questionable sometimes, but not in Karay. The list of dishes available were displayed in advance and the choice was second to none. The chefs were visible and keeping a close eye on the dishes available. Again, everything was fresh, of good quality and above all, everything was clean. TADKA - indian restaurant, one of the speciality restaurants; you needed to book in advance for the speciality restaurants, but this was no problem and we never encountered any problems with availability. We visited Tadka twice while there and the head chef even took time to speak to all guests, which I found very thoughtful and reinforced the personal touch. I must also make a special mention to Dooshita who served us. Dooshita was so warm, pleasant and always smiling and took the time to explain the dishes on offer. This made the difference between very good and excellent. The food was absolutely top notch and the experience made so much better by the members of the team who went over and above, whilst taking it in their stride. LOS DIRAB - the beach buffet and restaurant. By day, Los Dirab served a lunchtime buffet, which was nothing short of top notch, freshly cooked chicken and fish as well as a selection of hot and cold foods, all fresh and of high quality. By night, Los Dirab served a dual purpose as a restaurant and a beach restaurant, the beach restaurant at an additional charge, which was reasonable and worth it, particularly for a special occasion. We enjoyed a fantastic break at the Zilwa Attitude. Our son (14) had a great time and met a group of similar aged children. The resort felt safe to let him go off on his own and partake in the many activities that were on offer, including beach volleyball, football, aqua gym and tennis. The room was attended to each day and kept very clean and the resort was well looked after and just beautiful with a breathtaking view as you first enter the main building upon arrival. There was plenty of food and drink available for our all inclusive package. The main piece of feedback relates to our daughter (12) who is coeliac and also has a dairy allergy. Her reaction to gluten in particular is very severe and eating out always feels like a gamble and holidays are even more difficult. Zilwa Attitude took her allergies incredibly seriously, prepared her food separately so she didn’t eat off the buffet and when we ate in the a la carte restaurants they were able to modify the menu to accommodate her allergies. I would like to mention both Chef Cannye and Chef Alvin who were both outstanding. The waiting staff were also very good. They made a fuss of her (in a good way) and we could all relax and enjoy our holiday knowing she could eat safely. On our last evening we had a celebratory meal for my wife’s 40th birthday on the beach under one of the ‘gazebos’. The team made a real effort to make it extra special and the food was spectacular. We had the best holiday - my only feedback - and this is just my personal preference - is the evening dress code could be enforced to be a but smarter. I hope one day we are able to return.
