I was expecting a luxury experience considering the high prices but this was not the case at all. Our rooms were bare bones. There was no TV, desk, closet, furniture for clothing, microwave or fridge. At least the wifi was good because there is also no cellular service. Bed was comfy and climate control was good. There was no sink for the bathroom - the sink was in the bedroom. After you did yor stuff in the bathroom you had to go out into the bedroom to wash your hands then go back into the bathroom to dry them! I think prison cells are better furnished.

Beautiful property, but we found black and white mold in our room and management only wiped it down instead of fixing it. No room change was available (sold out for Labor Day) so we ended up leaving a night early. Despite the receptionist's promise that a manager would follow up and likely comp the room, no one ever reached out. The rooms themselves are well-decorated, but basic: no TV, no dresser, and a tiny sink in the bedroom. The pool and sauna were definite highlights of the trip, but not enough to make this hotel worth it. Between the health risk and poor response, I wouldn't return - there are better options in the Catskills.

We stayed here for a friends wedding and had an incredible experience! The food is great - made to order lattes, delicious breakfast, and poolside poke bowls. The rooms are well appointed with Malin & Goetz Products which make it feel super lux. Staff was so friendly. Would love to come back!

It was a nice place to stay but no tv no fridge no mini coffee maker but the free coffee in the shop was nice, tried checking in a half hour early and wasn’t able to check in until 5 -10 minutes passed the check in time.

Pretty grounds with helpful and friendly staff. There is no TV nor mini fridge in rooms. Property was out of stock for most breakfast items.

Not what I expected
I was spending the weekend to visit my daughter at sleepaway camp.
The facility was nice but I was under the assumption I would be in the main house not in a cabin up a steep hill which was a little disconcerting since I was traveling alone.
The strangest part was the menu which advertised itself as farm to table yet had very few options besides versions of burgers and fried chicken sandwiches.
They had run out of several things on the menu before I sat down at 6:30.
Real breakfast wasn’t served until 10 am. There was perfectly fine cafe but I overheard that the had run out of several items on the menu as well.
Also, I wanted to stay near the town of Calicoon so I could walk around and Calicoon Centre is 15 miles away from Calicoon.
I think the resort would be very pleasant for a family not a single parent.
