The place has a very nice vibe and offers spa services, good food and lovely malin & goets cosmetics plus a refillable water bottle. Three pools with different temperatures are options for relaxation along with a swing, oversize lawn games on the artificial turf and fireplaces by the bar.
Rooms also have sizeable fridges and boiling water jugs, but I wouldn't say it feels like a four star hotel. The massage wasn't amazing either, the masseuse didn't wash her hands before starting or after working your dusty feet and before massaging your neck and scalp, aromatherapy is one scent, so definitely not a genuine, luxurious spa experience with a dedicated space but more makeshift and definitely not worth the $200 plus the obligatory 23% gratuity.
Overall feels over-hyped and overpriced so if I have other options, I'd rather not come back.

Vickie was an excellent server — very kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our visit. She made us feel welcome and taken care of, and her positive attitude really stood out. She was a pleasure to have as our server.

Went above & beyond to make my stay memorable for my birthday & even left me a surprise spa gift. I stayed in one of the cottages & it was very clean & comfortable. The entire staff from the front desk, bartender, spa staff to housekeeping made me feel like a star!

We loved this location as the rooms had cute little amenities like aroma therapy in the room and Smeg regenerators and microwaves. Had a fabulous first-time mud bath. Three pools with varying temperatures of mineral water. On-site cafe with elixirs and specialty drinks. We had to evacuate Calistoga due to the Pickett fire, so we had to cut our trip short unfortunately. The staff was great in refunding our money and were all very helpful. In our rush to leave, I left some clothes. The guest service manager called to let me know and coordinated UPS to ship it back. Highly recommend.

Where do I even start?! I’m a mom of 5, often pulling 60 hour work weeks. I was in dire need of a break, and boy, did this place deliver. The room was cooled to perfection and tastefully decorated with adorable vintage and midcentury furnishings and appliances. I was thrilled to find high end body care products in our room as well. What really made the stay incredible was the grounds and close proximity to downtown Calistoga. With several points of entry and exit, we didn’t feel isolated or like we had to enter and exit under the watchful eye of a single lobby. After enjoying downtown Calistoga, we came back to soak in the mineral pools (SO relaxing), enjoyed multiple water cold plunge-type features, and spent time chatting in a few of their (many) beautiful seating areas. The staff was incredible, both approachable and kind, happy to share the history of the resort with us. We left feeling absolutely zen, refreshed, and stress-free. 10/10 recommend!

This was our second annual girl’s trip. We had a fabulous time. We were very well taken care of and are going back next year!
