Caybeach Caleta

Only good thing about this place is the location, close to the beach and restaurants and shops. We booked to have 8 nights here, we survived 3 and ended up booking to stay somewhere else for our own health. The place was infested in ants, on the sofa, bed, floor, kitchen tops and bathroom. We complained about them and we were told the cleaners would come which they did, but they told us to spray them with this aerosol which we couldn't that much as i have asthma and it effected it majorly, we tried to negotiate a refund as we spent nearly £700 to stay here but they refused without a thought. We wasted so much food we bought to save money from eating out due to these little ants, you can't even keep food there or leave a drink on the side while you watch TV because it ends up with ants all over it. They don't even provide cleaning products to help keep the areas clean, but yet expect us to keep the ants away.... I used to stay here as a kid and have nothing but happy memories here, but our stay them 3 nights have changed my mind completely and I will not be returning.

Arrived around 8.00pm and reception very helpful checking us in etc. bungalow very clean with everything you need, comfy bed, Aircon, all cooking utensils etc. The pool and bar were perfect, yes people arrived for 10pm claiming their spot for unlocking the beds ritual. It worked. It was so much safer and friendlier than running for the beds every morning. The staff here are above and beyond helpful. Especially the bar staff and William, he kept us entertained daily and is a credit to the hotel. The supermarket has everything you need, maybe open earlier and later would be the only negative thing. We will definitely return. Thank you Caybeach !

Just back from a 5 night break at cay beach & it could not get any better,,,landed 18.30 sun eve.. security through airport was seamless...just a good old fashioned passport stamp ...got taxi to cay beach 17€....20 with the tip...checked in by the lovely receptionist on duty & was in chalet by 19.20..lovely jubbly....room 510...right opposite reception was as expected as been here numerous times before..perfect for self catering holiday ..patio at front had full sun until 4pm ..so if I needed the pool walk straight across road & into complex...saves getting worked up by the towel hoggers.....after reading some reviews before you'd be led to believe place has gone downhill..it certainly hasn't ....I can only think these people are comparing so called 5* luxury hotels & thought they'd try a 3*star complex & comparing .....it is my go to holiday complex in caletta as it's central to everything in caletta & will definitely be returning next year....

Firstly ignore ALL negative reviews of this resort. It is a cost effective hotel that caters for all your needs. Fantasticaly clean, great pool area, (with kiddy pool), rooms are well apointed,(safe) beds comfy, tv & A/C ( dep req), pool towels, gym + sauna - what more you need? Book direct cut out Sqeasy jet mark up and fly Jet2 (£60) for a great relaxing holiday, Taxi 20 euros to airport, 12minutes. Enjoy CayBeach lazy warm days and nights in the knowledge you are safe and comfortable. My third trip and look to book again soon for another quicky vacation.

Me and My grandmother stayed here for 5 nights, on arrival the receptionist was very polite, I emailed the hotle in advance and requested a room close to the pool and they did this. The room itself very basic nothing to wow about we where only there for 5 nights so it was fine for us. There where ants in the shower the most random place you could find them every morning I would just wash them away.... the location of the hotle is spot on thats why I went here it's close to everything. Beach 5 min walk shops 2 min walk airport 15mjn drive. The hotle does have a restaurant on site but only open for breakfast I think they are failing here they could make alot more money if it was open in the evenings. They do have a snak bar which is ok not the best. The bar men very pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately I found the young lady behind the bar not so friendly. She was either just having a bad couple of days or she really hates her job. And sunbeds well i can honestly say I have never done the whole sunbed wars thing but oh my God so the sunbeds are locked up until 10 o'clock has our room was right by the pool I went to get 2 beds for me and my grandmother at 10 there was loads of people already hanging around claiming umbrellas with towles. There really isn't enough sunbeds. We went by the pool once. I rather pay 10.50 euro and go to the beach on one. Like I said its cheap cheerful. Would I stay here again if it was just for a couple of days yes any longer no.

I was apprehensive about this trip, because of some of the reviews. However, we had a delightful 10 day stay. You don’t expect 5* from a hotel that is less than. This ticked enough boxes for us. Clean, accessible, nice pool & the bungalows were nice too! We stayed as a larger group of 7 across 3 bungalows. (Including 2 toddlers) and we enjoyed our stay. I do think the entire resort could do with a bit of a refresh and some love, also more sunbeds poolside (definitely not enough to cover the amount of people). The pool was supposedly heated, but quite cold. Luckily it was hot enough not to care about that! The back gate by the pool takes you out about 2 minutes from the beach. There’s a lot of shops and restaurants locally.
