Broncemar Beach Suites

The location and overall mood of the hotel were very good and pleasant. The entertainment team, known as the “Animation Team,” was professional and friendly. My daughter always wanted to participate in their programs! 😊 The staff in the kitchen and bar were friendly and maintained high standards of cleanliness. However, one negative point was that the man responsible for drinks at the snack bar was, unfortunately, impolite 😡

Excellent accommodation that was an easy walk to all areas of interest. 15 mins max from airport. Our room wasn’t cleaned on the first day but was every day after that. No milk in the room but not an issue as we went to the shop. Would definitely return.

We really liked this hotel, and thought the food was decent but we like to go out for dinner each night even though all inclusive, loved the blue lagoon cocktails great taste and strong lol pool felt cold initially but ok once your in kids enjoyed it, rooms modern and good size but the reason I've dropped one star is because the maids are lazy and really let this hotel down the effort is shocking if I were the hotel manager I would sack the lot and get a full new team as this was my only gripe it really does let the place down we stayed 12 nights and I understand rooms are cleaned 5 nights out of 7 but even when they were cleaned the standard was so poor staff are lovely the reception and bar areas are lovely and kept clean so seems to be just the rooms this definitely needs to be addressed as it can be off putting apart from that we had amazing time thanks very much

Room - Junior Suite I was looking forward to spending some time in the garden which had a balinese bed sun longer. I contacted the hotel 6 weeks prior to our stay and requested a sunny aspect, which they said they would accommodate, however our garden got no sun at all throughout the course of the day. The Junior Suites opposite got the sun all day, so it's 50/50 as to whether you'll get a room with any sunshine. Requested another room but was told the hotel was full. The garden itself was fine, though it wasn't appealing to sit out in the the shade in December. We spent most of our time outside if the hotel for this reason as were not ones to sit around a busy pool all day. The room itself was basic and in need of some tlc. Definitely not a 4 star as advertised on their website. However the cockroaches were the real low point. My daughter put her shoes on and a minute or two later took one off as she felt something inside, and a cockroach fell out! There was also a cockroach in a suitcase (that was kept off the ground for the duration of our stay) and climbed up my arm when I was packing! My daughter saw one in her bed and refused to go back to sleep in it after we made sure it was gone. We found around 12 cockroaches in our room over the course of our 6 night stay. Food - It's a standard buffet style restaurant. Plenty of choice, nothing amazing but you'll always find something to eat, though it was never hot. The chef cooking the omelettes on a morning has to be the most miserable man I've come into contact with. Entertainment - we watched one show and decided not to watch any more. The kids enjoyed the floating thing in the pool that you had to run across though. We didn't bother with the kids club. Beach - 5/10 minute walk and lovely calm, clear water, safe for the kids to play in. We did the glass bottom boat, saw barracuda and manta rays amongst many other fish. The kids did the inflatable water park. The 9 year old loved it. The 7 year old, not so much. They both enjoyed the sea lion experience at the marina too. Mini golf at the Barcelo hotel was also good fun. Restaurants - there are plenty within close proximity to the hotel. Many were British style cafe/pubs aren't our thing. But we did eat at the restaurant on the marina a few times which is part of the Barcelo hotel. The food was excellent. We were half board at our hotel, but ate out for most meals after a few times in the hotel restaurant. All in all, I wouldn't return to Broncemar Suites.

Fantastic hotel.... thoroughly enjoyed it! Our room 192 was absolutely brilliant. Massive sliding window that looks over the pool. Two balconies, one which had sunbeds and table and chairs. Lounge area, kitchen and dining area. Kitchen has fridge but no freezer which we did miss as we like to get ice lollies. Toaster, kettle, microwave oven, two hobs. Then two bedrooms. Beds are very comfy but would have preferred a double bed in the main bedroom instead of two singles pushed together but I think this is majorly places in the canaries. Cleaners were disappointing, but that may have been down to the Christmas holidays. Our bin was overflowing most of the time due to not being emptied. Under the beds look like it's been a while since they've been cleaned under. It's not filthy but it's not great. Pool is heated as you can the difference to the none heated one but it's not heated enough. Pool area is clean and jet washed every evening. They don't mind you drinking your own drinks round the pool or at the entertainment which is a plus if self catering. Love the activities. As the pool was cold we welcomed the darts and shuffle board to get you moving . Would 100% return but probably at a warmer time so can enjoy the pool 😁 The location is brilliant. Close to all the restaurants and shops only 5-10 minutes walk to the beach.

We had a great time at the hotel. enjoyed the room view looking over the pool . All staff were lovely from reception to restaurant staff who always greeted you with a smile. Small shop in hotel. Also the cleaners were lovely we had clean towels mostly every day. Its our 2 visit to hotel and weather was lovely for november. Luigi, Juliana, morgana (where can i start ) fab entertainment team waw luigi was fantastic at the greatest showman. Iona my gran daughter just loved going to kids club😀 and disco for kids at night she wouldnt miss it for anything, adults were also encouraged to join in it was fun for everyone. My gran daughter loved doing the water carpet in the pool and was encouraged by the team to join in, Juliana and morgana were fab with her and the kids really lovely team who work extremely hard to keep all the guests entertained and luigi.😎. My gran daughter had one of Luigis kids chocolate cocktails. Manuel and bar staff were really lovely. I would definately return to this hotel.
