Circle Inn Hotel and Suites Bacolod ★★★

"The hotel is old and is undergoing renovation in some areas but it doesnt affect our stay. What i like in this hotel is the location and accessability to public transport. Its my 2nd time booking in this hotel and will definitely book again."

La Joya Farm Resort & Spa ★★★★

"This place is incredible, it exceeded all our expectations! It's a whole complex: there's a farm with an ostrich and other animals, a large pool with a beautiful view, in the evening you can watch movies from YouTube and they even give free popcorn; various board activities (Jenga, puzzles), ping-pong, badminton. In short, we didn't get bored at all for two days. The staff is generally responsive and resolves issues quickly. The only thing is they cook slowly, but maybe that's the country's mentality (I'm not sure about that), we eventually got used to it and ordered at least half an hour in advance. We also had some issues with the food; after one dinner with shrimp, I had an upset stomach. Many dishes are spicy, probably with local spices. Twice I asked for the pasta to be redone for my child so it wouldn't be spicy, and in the end, I just asked for plain spaghetti without sauce, and they still didn't get it right. I can recommend this place, but with a caveat about the kitchen."

Treehouse de Valentine ★★★★

"Treehouse de Valentine – a slice of paradise in the Cebu jungle 🌿 We stayed here for one night at the start of our trip. The hotel is nestled deep in the jungle, by a mountain river. The atmosphere is incredible – complete silence, only the sounds of nature. At night, we even saw fireflies. Our bungalow was a single-story unit, but very cozy and stylish. Inside, it had everything we needed: a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and hot water. In the morning, we took a dip in the crystal-clear river – so refreshing and energizing. The staff were very friendly. We ordered food to our room – delicious Filipino cuisine, generous portions, and reasonable prices. This is the perfect place to unwind after a flight and before a beach vacation. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates nature, solitude, and romance. 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
