I had to stay in Cairns for one night, so I chose this motel. It's not very clean, but I guess that's how it is for motels overseas.

I arrived in the morning and thought I would just leave my luggage there, but it was nice to be able to check in as well. It's a little far from the center, but for this price it's not a problem.

Location is a little hard to find. The place is old and is in desperate need of renovations. Good thing is Da Murphy's just around the corner.

Clean accommodation with single rooms that were fairly cheap and well equipped. Multiple towels were provided, which was useful. Check in was efficient and friendly. There’s an adjoining restaurant and lots of parking. My only suggestion for improvement is that the wifi signal needs to be stronger. My room only had wifi at the door- I couldn’t be sitting by the door all the time

Great people. My booking was buggered up. I was booked in two places at once but not later in the month for work. Called and spoke to staff re my situation and it was sorted professionally and without fuss. I’ve stayed at Aspect Central many many times and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.

The location is quite a long walk from central Cairns and the esplanade. The motel was part of a cheap package deal and I found it most unpleasant. The bedding was clean but the undersheet was torn. I was in 2 different rooms on the ground floor due to a broken toilet flush in first, and both rooms were dingy with grubby floors and very tired decor. There were tiny bugs everywhere. A young couple upstairs completed the horrid experience by arguing and chucking things around each night. Not recommended.

Fantastic stay 1 night either side of an sland trip. Staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful and Sam especially was great but the two ladies we saw before also helped loads. Given a ground floor room because of our many bags which was really kind and above and beyond. 5 star service. Motel itself was very clean and tidy for the price we paid and comfortable and homely with our 2 children. Honestly couldn't fault it for £70 a night. Really it's a taxi ride into Cairns considering the heat and with children but there is a row of shops and takeaways just across the road. For what we paid a fantastic experience. Not a 5 star tourist hotel (and doesn't sell itself as such) but we had 5 star service and two very satisfactory stays.

When we arrived in our room we discovered two cockroaches. After trying out the shower it leaked over the door and onto the wall getting the whole bathroom soaked (we proceeded to fix this for the rest of our stay). We asked one of the staff members for the wifi password and they said it was open and anyone could use it. This was not so. They did however respond to our email the next day. Over all we understand you get what you pay for but we were expecting a lot more from a 3.5 star hotel.

This motel suited my purposes. It’s not in the best location (on the main highway). But, it had free car parking & an adequate room with all that I needed. The bathroom was good. Late check in procedure worked well, as did early check out. If passing though, a good choice.
