Premier Inn Caernarfon

Really clean room, good service at the front desk but the aircon is like a cement mixer unfortunately :-( if they sort that out then it’s a perfect stay! Also parking is non existent you need to put your car in a council car park and hope it doesn’t get broken into! Btw don’t stay in a room opposite the travel lodge as you will be away all night! Other than that no issues.

Fabulous location right by Victoria Marina… a collection of nice restaurants and a stones throw from the castle… as per normal premier inn is underrated and I never know why… this family room was huge… amazingly powerful shower… comfy beds… great value breakfast… the breakfast staff were beyond lovely… nothing was too much trouble…

Great base for exploring Caernarfon, clean /fresh rooms. The staff are so helpful and friendly, Went into table table for our meals,the food was lovely, sat with a view over the harbour while eating lovely and peaceful. Definitely stay here again.

Service very good. Car park £5 for 24hours. Just a short walk across the road. Staff very helpful. Nice setting for breakfast, facing the Marina. Breakfast very good value for money. Staff at breakfast lovely and friendly. Would definitely use this hotel again if we in this area.

I’d like to start by saying that the receptionist was a real gentleman, helping in anyway possible, but it simply wasn’t enough. I paid extra for the Ultimate WiFi which you can purchase for £5 for a maximum of 24hours.. not ideal if you are staying for multiple nights. DO NOT depend on this wifi if you intend on working, as you are likely to be disconnected every hour or so, requiring you to forget the wifi just to enable the reconnection to work. The house keeping is hopeless. I left the sign on the door for the room to be refreshed as well as notifying reception, to return 5 hours later to find 2 big towels on the bed as the only evidence that anyone had been there. Old towels were still in the bath, and no replacement for a hand towel was provided. The bin was full, with recycling surrounding it.. untouched. There was also no refill of condiments such as tea bags or milk. There are condiments to help yourself to at reception but there was no milk, so I asked the gent at the desk who checked and found that they were completely out of stock, which I think is quite a poor standard for such a huge company to be running at out of season. I have stayed at multiple Premier Inns and this is the WORST one yet. I paid the same price for this low level of service as I did to stay in Cardiff Bay Premier Inn, where I received a full refill of tea and coffee each day, fresh towels when asked for and no problems with wifi for 4 consecutive days. Caernarfon was a ghost town this week and the Premier Inn was no exception, so to receive such shoddy service was a BIG surprise from my most trusted hotel company.
