Booked this hotel to attend conference nearby. Loved the Signature room, which was big with seating area. Complimentary bottle of wine, or substitute with bottles of non-alcoholic drinks was nice touch. Pastries provided at the lounge made for quick and easy breakfast option. Enjoyed the swimming pool, jet pool, sauna and hot steam room in the Health club. Area around Resort is also very big, walking along the woodlands trail to the Golf club was therapeutic. Stay Signature room, worth the additional upgrade.

Very nice hotel in that region. One of the best I've stayed. Facilities are complete. Only thing that shocked me was parking is not free.

Last minute booking to stay at the Celtic Manor. Great welcome at reception, smooth check-in and really helpful team at reception. I had a late check out confirmed, which was really appreciated. 8th floor room with a small balcony. The room was large with a great layout. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was very good, clear explanation and tour of the breakfast area. Excellent choice. Would recommend and look forward to staying again

It had been a while since my last visit, I would no longer call this a five star but a 4 star. Mini bar is now just an empty fridge, you don’t even get complementary bottled water these days. The pool area is still as nice but the days of staying there for hours is long gone. You get an hour and a half and that’s your lot. Decided to have room service for a change, most of it was luke warm, the fries were cold. Quite overpriced for what it was. They added on almost £10 of a discretionary charge. This can be removed at the desk before leaving if required. Beds are comfy, pillows not so much so I take my own. Rooms need updating, quite a few marks on the carpets. The air con ran all day and night, couldn’t turn this off but I like a cold room so didn’t bother me. Breakfast at the olive tree was mediocre, food luke warm, quite busy unless you go early. Tea and coffee is now made from machines. One thing that really didn’t impress was when we went to get another cup of tea we returned to our table to find it had been cleared and a chair removed. So if you decide you want more of anything I would leave one person sat at the table or they will think you’re finished and clear it all away. Quite annoying. The people next to us helped themselves to my chair so I had to go find another. All in all I had a good time, just a few things made it not perfect. All employees I came across were happy to help and full of smiles. Thank you to them!
