Lovely stay in this most beautiful of resorts. Fair size room and very clean. Plenty of choice for breakfast. A nice buzz to the hotel with a good standard of fellow guests. Swimming pool and surroundings was top class. Always lots of beds free around the pool. The location in walking distance of the whole resort is perfect. Final word for Cadaques the place, fell in love with this resort. My new favourite beach of anywhere in the world, and I've been to a few! We will return.

Great staff and location. Wonderful breakfast. Great access to restaurants. Beach was a disappointment, small and smelly. Recommend walking to other beaches out of main area.

There isn't a more perfect place to stay in Cadaques than Hotel Playa Sol. Literally beach front and along the main street with so many shops and restaurants. We booked a double facing the sea room w/ balcony. The room was a little small but felt more spacious the way the walls opened up from the bathroom into the bedroom and the balcony views were amazing! The only complaint was the way our bathroom was configured the shower was very small and shaped like a triangle and there is no way a large person would be able to get in or out. The hotel grounds are beautiful with the pool and spa, tennis courts located behind the hotel in a private garden setting. The front desk gives out towels for the pool or for the beach. The breakfast was complimentary and a decent spread. They have a parking garage onsite - but wow you gotta have skills to park here, the spots are tiny!

Pleasant hotel in a great location. Friendly staff, generous breakfast buffet, quiet rooms, nice sitting area and pool. You can cross the street to swim in the ocean. (Bring beach shoes- it’s gravelly) Upgrade to a room with sea view if possible as this gives you a lovely view of the city especially at night

The staff was great! They printed out my bus tickets and also gave a recommendation for the best paella in town. If I would give them a higher score than excellent if possible. Also the breakfast was unmatched!

Nice location. My overall experience was the staff wasn’t friendly, no one was welcoming! The rooms were small nothing special. You couldn’t get coffee before 8 am. I was told I couldn’t have breakfast on the patio. You had to pay to use the pool table. There were zero “extras” , this was an average hotel. This is a hotel I wouldn’t recommend.

A delightful Hotel with excellent spacious rooms, bathrooms and very nice public areas. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The layout for breakfast was also very good with good variety of fruits, cereals, juices, breads, pastries, cheese, preserves, etc. The room was cleaned on time and very tidily done. I stayed here for three nights and loved every minute of my stay here. A little gem that I would have no hesitation in recommending.
