"The place was incredibly simple, the service was EXTREMELY friendly, but sadly the heating was not on so we had to use a duvet that had something that bit us all over. Since we already paid the reservation in advance there was nothing we could do. The place was overall clean, which surprised us with the bugs."

"The hotel is in a good location not too far from Arenas and has free parking so no worries about finding a parking spot. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is quite big. What really made me appreciate the stay was the small details, the branded bathroom products from Rituals, the welcoming tray with filtered water, coffee machine. This hotel is better than some 4 star hotels and seems to be under good management. What I would suggest is getting a better wifi to not disconnect you every 40 minutes. A trash bin in the room with a trash bag. A kettle to make tea."

"I have been before. Why have I come back? Because it is great. The owners of this hotel understand the concept of easy comfort. You don't have to have fancy hotels and clinical rooms. You have to provide warmatch of reception and service. Easy relaxing comfort. Great food that you want to get stuck into. Made to feel that you are welcome. Then after that, if the beds are comfortable, the showers working well with a clean bathroom you are onto a winner. We slept well - I only wish we had booked a second night which was part of my plan other than an early departure of the ferry because of the weather. If you want to explore the Picos and the Asturias then this is the place to base up. Trust me here folks - this is simple comfort and relaxation - this coming from a Hotelier!!."

"Staff were unfriendly. Room extremely basic with inadequate storage space. Bed uncomfortable. No fridge or water provided. Room dirty around edges and bathroom smelt unpleasant. Extremely hot and noisy (road and other guests). I was also eaten alive by mosquitoes and other bugs. Breakfast is farcical - read the other reviews. I would advise people not to stay here despite the good location. "
