We’ve stayed a several resorts in Cabo, and this one is the best! The beach is unswimmable due to the undertow, but the water is beautiful and the waves are huge. The resort is immaculate, not a piece of trash anywhere. The rooms are spacious and comfy, and the staff is great. The drinks are pricey if you don’t do inclusive, but they are much better than what you’d normally find at inclusive hotels. Location is far enough away from things that it is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to walk to the harbor or downtown if you want.

Beautiful resort, Excellent. Service, The water activities and pick up all costs should be included in your stay!! That was a disappointment to charge the guests!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 bedroom presidential suite but did not realize we were going to be charged extra for it.Did not know until check out!! The market is way over priced!! The deli and the sports bar had excellent food And raising a bleed priced food... Nine dollars for Bottled water was too expensive in the bar!! Solm

Spent 3 nights here - check in was super quick. The staff was super friendly once we walked in. The room was huge, comfortable bed, great view from the patio. We were there during the tropical storm Raymond- so the waves were crashing so big - the beach access was cut off - so unfortunately we didn’t get to walk around the beach which was the only thing that was disappointing- but was still pretty cool seeing the huge waves - especially from the infinity pool. The staff was super friendly- the drinks were strong - I highly recommend the Mudslides and Miami Vices. Loved the pool areas - lots to choose from. We especially loved the grotto hot tub - that was so relaxing and felt like a fancy spa. The Sports bar was nice - food was really good. The breakfast restaurant was great too - sat and watched the waves crash from our table. One of the coolest resorts I’ve ever stayed - close and central to from the marina and downtown bars

We’ve been coming here since 2011 for our honeymoon. The staff are friendly, the property is clean and very well maintained and the restaurants are amazing. We make a grocery stop on the way to the resort from the airport so we can make our breakfast each day, then we have sushi at the pool and go out to the many great restaurants in town for dinner. An Uber to mast anywhere is around $5 and the restaurants in Cabo are amazing. The sunsets here are stellar and the infinity pools allow you to watch the Pacific ocean waves crash all day long. Every place we travel to we comapre to here and there has yet to be a place that lived up to our comparison. Truly our home away from home.

We stayed at the resort for 6 nights in October, when the hotel was at 85% capacity and not too busy. Overall we appreciated many aspects of the resort, including its proximity to the Cabo San Lucas marina, its location right on the Pacific Ocean, beautiful views from the rooms (we stayed in building 8, 6th floor), ocean facing pools with swimup bars, and friendly service from the staff. The price for a resort of this quality is overall reasonable, and we liked the atmosphere of minimal children and party goers which resulted in a relatively quiet environment even in the public pool areas. Some things we didn’t like as much: the food onsite is very American-tourist leaning without many authentic Mexican options. The service for the food was also slow & inconsistent; in one case we ordered an item that was forgotten and in another case the staff took over 15mins take our orders after being seated. The poolside drinks were also watered down and overpriced. We found ourselves venturing outside of the resort for food and drink every day after our first day at the resort (there is far superior Mexican fare in town especially away from the tourist areas). I wouldn’t recommend the all-inclusive option unless you aren’t wiling to venture out and get authentic food, and/or prefer being served American food slowly. Above all else though, this resort is worthwhile. I saw baby leatherback turtles hatching on the beach near the resort. And being so close to the water’s edge, we could open our room windows at night and hear the sound of the waves crashing. So very soothing and worthy of a beachside resort experience!

Staff very kind and attentive to our needs. From our arrival the first staff we met were great. Check in went very well. Angel looked after us very well. Roberto very kind, friendly. Lots of shopping nearby the hotel. Hotel grounds were amazing. Pools were clean and great views of the ocean. Our room was clean and kept clean by the cleaning staff. There was good music daily. Rooms were quiet. Overall feel was surpassed my expectations.

My husband and I just spent a week at Grand Solmar, Land's End in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We were so impressed and so very, very happy that this is the resort we stayed at our first time in Cabo. Our stay at Grand Solmar Land’s End was way above our expectations and firmly surpassed our hopes. To tell the end at the beginning, we loved it so much that it will be a repeat experience, as we decided to purchase into the timeshare while we were there. Never ever having been the "time share type people", this decision floored both of us! My husband worked in time share industry for many years, thus well knows the in's and out's of it, but we were both so taken with the pretty much perfect stay and the flexible time share program offered (thank you, Dave). They did not high pressure sell us...in fact we probably slipped through the cracks, as they never approached us...rather on our second to last day, we sought them out. Having spoken with several time-share couples over the previous days at the pool, coupled with our own experience during the week, we were certain that a time share at Grand Solmar was something we wanted to consider. That said, whether you opt to do a time share or just stay there, Grand Solmar Land's End was a best of everything. First, the staff and the service was so top notch, and that more than anything makes us want to come back. Incredibly friendly and helpful people at every single turn, from front desk (Maya and Katharine), to housekeeping (thank you, Diana), to restaurant wait staff (thank you, Elizabeth), to pool concierge (thank you, Aban) and pool service (thank you, Juan). These people are absolute stars and I hope the company rewards them well, as they were stand outs! We look forward to seeing them again soon. The next thing that captivated us was the beautiful architecture, landscaping and furnishings. Wow! Most often when I arrive some new hotel/resort, I think "Oh, this is lovely" and then through the next few days I start to see that the initial impression giving way to noticing flaws and lack of design depth. Not the case with Grand Solmar...every day, multiple times, I saw details that I hadn't noticed the day before. The attention to the small, medium and big things made every day a rich experience in atmosphere. Even on the last day I was snapping photos of previously unnoticed things. From the intricate rockery to the lighting and beautiful plants on the pathways, to the thoughtful touches in the guest rooms, restaurants, and lobby…and all surrounded by the sound and vision of close ocean waves and the towering and majestic rock hills...just exquisite. We rented the premium cabana 3 times during the week, and it was worth every penny to sit in shade by the pool, with the ocean just beyond. We went into town several times (short walk, and even shorter cab ride)...town was fun for a change of pace, but mostly we loved being at the resort. Just a brilliant experience. Now back here at home, we still have

Brisas Pool bar is fantastic. They really take care of you. Geraldo, Victoria, Luis & many others made our stay exceptional. Quick to ask for food & drinks & took the time to get to know us. That’s why we love coming to Grand Solmar properties.
