Perfect place in Outerbanks. Enjoyed the secluded and private beach. Excellent sunrise view.. Perfect place for families with kids and pets.

We have been going to Lighthouse View and staying in the same house for over 25+ years! It our home away from home. The staff is family to us! Everyone one there is so friendly and accommodating. Houses are clean and well maintained. I would recommend to anyone that’s ask to take a vacation there!

Lighthouse View has once again provided a wonderful experience. Our suite was gorgeous with everything we could need. The location is perfect — on the beach, near the lighthouse, plus nearby food and fun. Though storms badly damaged the beach and surrounding homes, the property was safe and in the process of being returned to its usual beauty. Everyone there was very pleasant. We felt welcomed before we got there and appreciated during our stay. What a joy to be at Lighthouse View.

Cape Hatteras is wonderful this time of year and Lighthouse View Oceanfront Lodging is the perfect place to stay! I enjoy star gazing, and this area offers many dark sky sights that are simply magic! I got several fantastic night shots right next to Lighthouse View Oceanfront Lodging, since it is right on the ocean and blocks out all the city lights to the west! The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and maid service every day! It is a perfect place to relax and unwind!

We stayed in a full suite so I can't comment on the other types of rooms. The large suite was excellent with a fully equipped kitchen. It faced the ocean with a porch and comfy chairs. There is a back porch to catch the sunset. Other than the relaxing ocean waves everything was nice and quiet. The living room has a Roku stick with limited access, along with one in the bedroom. Everything looked new and clean. I might quibble about the price ($$$$) but we were on vacation and this came close to being at home.

We enjoyed our stay and found our unit clean and comfortable. We stayed in 252 and it felt very ocean front. Well maintained. Kitchen has everything you need. Swimming pool has sparkling clean water. I was disappointed in the lack of beach but loved sitting on my balcony. If you walk north there is beautiful beach. I hope I can return.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great — peaceful, yet close to everything you might need. The house has everything a family could ask for, and the view of the sunrise is absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

We were in 312. Condo was spacious for my family of 4. The kids loved the bunk beds. All of the beds were comfortable. The decks were nice with chairs. Back deck had a great view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the tide was high the entire time so there wasn’t a beach. There was a smell to the condo, we purchased a candle to help. The bathroom could use some TLC. Would be nice if there were essentials such as Salt, Pepper, coffee, etc. The pool & hot tub were nice & maintained.

This is a great location being so close to the ocean. We love Buxton and LVOL is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the environment
