Motel 6 Buttonwillow, CA Central

I need WIFI to get some work done, and this property advertises WIFI. After checking in and trying to connect to WIFI several times unsuccessfully, the front desk informed me that they don’t have WIFI because their router is down. Why did the same person tell me the WIFI access code when I checked in? I was lied to. I hate this place. Do not patronize this deceitful business.

Front desk person very friendly and helpful Needed assistance with room door and air conditioner No shampoo Very clean. You can smell the cleaning fluid. Nice lawn and surrounding garden area Husband enjoyed pool Pool water had some debris in it

The good, the bad and the Ugly: The Good: The room was clean enough, no bugs (which is a huge positive), no visible dust, clean beds and bathroom. Close to the freeway and very reasonably priced. The Bad: The beds were very uncomfortable (unless you are really into extra, extra firm) and they only give you one thin pillow each person / 2 pills per bed. The Ugly: The rooms floor was in terrible shape, tile in the bathroom was broken and warn, there was a huge crack in 2 spots from what looks like a tree root going under it because it’s raised under the crack. The tv has an issue where it would work fine the turn pink and the sound would go off, probably an old hdmi cable but not great. The heater was very difficult to get to work as well took 5 minutes to somewhat figure it out. Over all it’s ok if you are just there to stop for the night while driving on I5, not somewhere I want to spend a lot of time.

I like they allow dogs & have smoking rooms Right off fwy convenient. Smoking rooms cheaper downstairs fwy noise. Nicer a few bucks more upstairs quieter. I stay here often roadtripping from bay area.

Excellent Choice!! I read the reviews before I pick this hotel because I stay at a lot of different hotels and I’m very particular. I was driving home from San Diego and knew I was gonna have a very long trip to Northern California so I decided to break up my stay. I am so glad that I stayed at this place. Not only was it spotless, the rooms were big enough to be comfortable, and had everything that I needed with regard to a microwave and a refrigerator. But what I like the best was how they have a garden in the back of the hotel by the pool, and I think if more hotels took advantage of the empty space that they have, and raised trees and fruit or vegetable plants like that, the world would be a better place so cheers to you Motel 6!!!
