SpringHill Suites by Marriott Chicago Southwest at Burr Ridge/Hinsdale

Upon check-in, I went to my room where I found a man sitting and watching TV. Front Desk assigned me another room and I later learned that the mystery man was a hotel employee who was supposed to be cleaning another room. Hotel is also desperately in need of a remodel - furniture is worn and uncomfortable, carpets are badly stained. To make matters worse, someone hit my car in the parking lot, doing significant damage. While that is not the hotel's fault, there are no exterior cameras, which would have been helpful to identify who hit my vehicle. I am generally loyal to Marriott but will never return to this property.

Excellent location with convenient access to Chicago and south and southwestern suburbs. Rooms were clean and service was very good. At checkin, they noted that room would only be serviced every other day, but ours was serviced every day during our 4 day stay. Included breakfast was well stocked and continuously refilled...not expansive but very reasonable (eggs, breakfast meat, waffles, pastries, oatmeal, etc.).

The hotel was convenient for visiting friends and family on South and North Side of Chicago. It was clean. The staff looked like theyn loved their jobs and were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good. Hotel,is convenient to a mall for meeting friends and the Interstate of you have to drive. Near Brookfield Zoo which is a nice change of pace.

Absolutely Loved! We enjoyed this stay! Although we were running around a lot, we came back to a friendly, clean and comfortable atmosphere. The entrance of the hotel/lobby stayed clean and clutter free. The room was really nice! I had the king w/sleeper sofa. I appreciated the partial wall divider that is built in. It allowed my daughter some sort of privacy and myself as well. Now, the mirror that’s in front of the bed (side eye…😂…OK THEN!!!…that’s all I have to say about it). The bathroom is a bit small, you have a small inswing, so if you’re a bigger person, get the room with accessibility. The mattress was extremely soft, which made for a stiff morning, but nothing you can’t get pass. The breakfast was good, fresh and hot! Definitely will come back!

Good Stay Good breakfast, comfortable room. The drapes were torn though, and the wood on the furniture was worn off in some places. Very spacious though, and really nice having the kitchenette.
