The best part of the stay was the service of the staff. They helped us with our luggage, fixed the washing machine once we reported it wasn’t working, helped us boil hot water to throw in the air. That was the saving grace of the hotel.
The bad part of the stay was the room view wasn’t great, you look out of the window and you see other wooden cabins, so not much of the mountain and the room is quite small. The breakfast option was terrible as you have to walk to a nearby restaurant for food and they only give you one option of tomato egg noodles and that was it. They said because it is winter so there is no option. For the amount you pay for the hotel, the room and poor option for breakfast is really not value for money.
Not sure why the reviews are great for this hotel.

This is the worst room I stayed in during my visit to Hemu. The room facilities are not good. Everything is broken and the experience is very bad. The wooden floor and toilet are broken. It feels very cheap. I didn't even have afternoon tea.

I didn't receive the welcome fruit and afternoon tea set that came with the room.
The room service was very responsive. The location is good, and Hemu Bridge is next door.
The B&B gave me breakfast coupons, which I used at the breakfast shop next door. There were very few dishes, only tomato and egg noodles.
The room facilities were very new, but the sound insulation was very poor. There was always a live broadcast of people selling clothes at the door, from morning to night, which was very noisy.
