The Tangerine - a Burbank Hotel

Almost excellent if hot breakfast provided would be outstanding.

Thank goodness for the reviewers on TripAdvisor! My son and I were scheduled to go on a Walt Disney Studio Tour, and happened upon the reviews for The Tangerine and decided to roll the dice and give it a go. It was FABULOUS! What a great area and what a great little retro motel to stay at! The hotel staff is wonderful and inviting. We stayed on the second floor and eventho the area is a safe one, when you have kids staying on the second floor was nice. Their pool is heated year round at 85 degrees! While it is a little "motel-style" pool, it is perfect for little ones to splash around in! The lobby is open/available 24 hours a day, and it has a coffee/tea bar and a community microwave for your use. The rooms are "updated retro" (if there is such a thing) and they are very clean with comfortable beds, linens, pillows and very acceptable towels and toiletries. There is adequate parking as well, which is always a bonus! Finally, they are located in such a neat little part of town, with several wonderful options of places to eat, coffee shops, etc. All are within a simple walking distance from the Tangerine - so you really don't need to get back into your car if you don't want to in order to grab a bite. (we very happily ate at the Original Bob's Big Boy. An institution, always busy, and great food and value.) If you are planning to go to either Warner Bros, Walt Disney Studios OR Universal Studios - The Tangerine most definitely should get your consideration. We know that we will stay here again.

Stayed here for three days and loved it. Clean, comfortable and cozy… coffee machine was delicious and there is a good selection of food in walking distance!!
