The staff was excellent and the chef was very accommodating to my wife’s special diet. My wife’s diet is unusual in that she needs no fat and no alcohol.

Die schöne, atmosphärische Lodge liegt sehr nahe zum Queen Elisabeth NP und zur lohnenswerten Bootsausflug auf dem Kanal. Man kann vom Hotelpool aus Wildtiere beobachten. Tiere können auch auf das Gelände kommen. Ein majestätischer Elefant hat hier seinen Heimweg. Die Zimmer sind wunderbar und der sehr freundliche Staff sehr aufmerksam. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Gelegentlich hapert es kurz mit dem Strom. Wir würden es jederzeit weiterempfehlen!

Our stay was an unforgettable experience. The spacious lodge has great personal service and one of the many highlights is the dining by the fire, sunset and here and there a big animal to sight. Safari was included as we enjoyed our time at the pool.

I was impressed by the little details that made a big difference — like the three pillows on the bed, each with a different firmness. Such a simple but thoughtful touch from the Lodge, ensuring every guest finds their comfort. The entire place feels private and beautifully maintained. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed with warm or cold hand towels, and the staff seem to anticipate your needs before you even ask. Overall, the experience has been exceptional. If I had to point out one thing, it would be the appetizer choice. The food is outstanding, but serving a small pizza as a starter felt a bit out of place. And as for the majestic landlord — that’s something you’ll have to experience for yourself. A true highlight.

Hele goede accommodatie waar alles naar de zin was. Bediening was zeer attent en alles werd goed verzorgd. Lekker eten, savonds een mooi vuurt en de dieren komen tot voor de deur. Security is attent met halen en brengen. Kamers groter dan gemiddeld.
