Nice family home stay run by a small family nice rooms nice roof top and close to the major attractions. Room was fine and clean has good aminities too. It is well located in the center of the town and has walkable access to most visitable places.

Très bon rapport service/prix. L'accueil est sympathique et le gérant parle un peu français ce qui peut être agréable. Le lieu est plutôt calme, bonne situation géographique. La cuisine est très bonne. Bundi est une petite ville facile à vivre.

After travelling around India for a few weeks, staying in various types of accommodation from hostels to guesthouses, I can say without any doubt that Shivam is the best experience I have had so far. Everything about this guesthouse oozes hospitality and homeliness. The family who run the guesthouse clearly care very deeply about their work and about the guests who stay with them. From the moment I set foot in the guest house I felt as though I was being taken care of as though I too was a part of the family. We visited during a relatively quiet period in Bundi in terms of tourism and my friend and we were the only guests. Even so they offered a complete breakfast menu every morning without fail and always made the offer of a vegetarian thali complete with dal, vegetables, rice, chapatis, and papadams for dinner. We were also able to get clothes washes here for a small fee and it might just have been the most worthwhile money we spent during the trip. The location is great as well, just a five minute walk from the main palace and fort complex and close to the major stepwells, shivam is perfectly situated to see the best that Bundi has to offer.

Super Guest house, on a eu beaucoup de plaisir à dormir-là et partager une partie des soirées avec la famille. Leur cuisine végétarienne est très bonne. Les chambres et les salles de bains sont très propres. Ils nous ont organisé un rick-show même tardif pour nous permettre de prendre le train vers 1h30 du matin. Le petit restaurant sur le toit est très joli. Au déjeuner on peut même y voir des enfants jouant au cerf-volant sur les toits voisins. Ils parlent également assez bien le français (si vous ne connaissez pas assez bien l'anglais).

We arrived at this place expecting what had been previously written by fellow travellers.. sadly it was the total opposite.. Rooftop terrace was great otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere. There are no facilities in this guest house whatsoever, perhaps in a few years time.. if you are backpacking and want to pay $12 a night then great.

The room was simple and clean and reasonably priced (standard double AC). Service was good and hosts were very welcoming. However, the food was a lot more expensive than we would have expected from such a place. We would recommend eating out for a cheaper meal or ask for prices beforehand (which we didn't, trusting it would be in the range of what we had seen over our last 5 weeks in India).
