Ponta Anchaca

A comida e os funcionários salvaram a nossa estadia, esperávamos um hotel 4 estrelas mas encontramos um de duas estrelas. Não vale o preço que foi cobrado. A Sra. Solange, que eu penso ser a responsável, teceb bem os hóspedes mas é extremamente má com os funcionários não percebendo que eles são a alma do hotel. Quando a minha família e eu nos apercebemos disso só queríamos ir embora, o Bulling feito por ela é Nojento. Não recomendo este hotel a ninguém, aliás, não sei porque ele tem 4 estrelas, começo a duvidar das classificações dadas pelas organizações responsáveis.

Local fantástico e integrado na natureza. Mar quente e ótimo. Instalações muito boas e confortáveis. Com varanda para lazer sobre a praia excelente Serviço de lanche via Bissau bem organizado Restaurante muito bom Serviço globalmente muito bom.

Foi a nossa segunda estadia neste hotel, água do mar quente, por do sol maravilhoso, quartos bons, boa comida e staff muito prestável. As massagens com a Luísa são super relaxantes. A gerente Solange sempre energética e atenta mas devia saber falar português. Recomendamos e voltaremos.

A very special place, very well inserted into the landscape, with a superb beach. The hotel provides quality service and the possibility of accessing various adventures, such as boat trips, fishing, visits to other islands and their communities, providing authentic and very real experiences of living with communities

The resort is fantastic. For 120 euros per night I enjoyed full board here. The food (breakfast with croissants and fruit, lunch and dinner with 3 courses each) is excellent. This is certainly a beneficial side effect of the fact that the accommodation is aimed at a French audience. The whole trip was actually supposed to be a health-conscious active holiday for me, but I had to postpone burning off calories until after I returned to Germany 😂 The complex is very attractive and spacious with many cozy spots on and above the water. I had a bungalow with a lake terrace all to myself. The owner Solange keeps the resort running. With high energy, she is always on duty everywhere. She is a strong manager who fits in very well with the matriarchal social structures on the Bíjagos archipelago. She has 90 employees, to whom and their families she offers great income and advancement opportunities in an environment of absolute poverty. Everyone is multilingual in Creole, Portuguese, French and the respective Bijago dialect. To keep the company running, Solange also maintains close relationships with the tribes on Rubane and the neighboring Canhabaque, where she also runs a resort. In all the hustle and bustle, the information beforehand fell by the wayside. I would have liked a little clearer communication beforehand (e.g. about the departure time of the speedboat). But that's maybe the German in me. A guest brochure with the resort's numerous offers would also be helpful on site. But you'll find out anyway. If there's any problem, Solange solves it in no time. Satisfaction guaranteed! Another great thing is the option of paying the bill by bank transfer to Solange's French account, so there are no fees for foreign payments like with a credit card. The worst thing about a trip to Ponta Anchaca is the time afterwards, when you're brought back from paradise to the harsh reality...
