Tru by Hilton Bryan College Station

I reserved a room for an overnight stay for my daughter. The room seemed clean. The next morning, she woke up itching at various parts of her body, but she didn't think of anything. It continued getting worse after she had come home, so I made an appointment with her doctor. Needless to say, it was mites. She was prescribed topical and oral medication, and I had to sanitize and wash her whole room at home. I called the hotel and spoke to the manager. She definitely got that there that night. The manager did not take me seriously. She just said that the cleaning crew knows to change all sheets and have the room clean and ready for the next guest. Well, that did not happen that day. I called so they could check the room for possible infestation, but she did not care. Will never stay there again for sure. Hilton should look into this.

Unique, hardly was actually worse than any motel 6 I've ever been in. The AC was so loud when the compressor came on that it awoke me and my wife each time. Tried to complain to the front desk about the AC only to have no one answer the phone and no one at the front desk @ 1am! The general state of the hotel was filthy! Not just dirty but filthy! The first tip off should have been the front doors, so dirty you could not see through them. I thought it was due to remodeling but boy was I wrong. The ******* reviews were way off, the pictures on ******* were from when it was NEW, it's far from new.

Nice hotel/ zero issues! We stayed one night; we were in town for a swim meet. Staff was very friendly (Kennedy). We had no issues and our room was clean. Lobby is cute; love the colors and the games for kids.

Bed Bugs, smokey smells, elevator buttons?? Smokey smells in non-smoking room. Elevator button has to be pushed multiple times to finally engage or you will wait forever. One ice machine for all the customers. Breakfast is horrible unless you only eat pancakes and cereal. Front desk girls were amazing and tried to help with all the hotel problems. BED BUGS, my kid was ate up with bed bugs and I reported the issue to the staff. They moved us for the last night but I was not contacted by email or called by GM to discuss refund or compensation for all the trauma. Sanitization of all our clothes(5 kids and 2 adults), fear of staying in hotels in the future, inability to sleep because you think that bugs are on your body.

Never Again Upon arrival I had a hard time finding my reservation because they had my last name first and first name last so the lady gave me my card back and said she couldn’t find me. The hotel itself smelled very old and mildew. Made it to my room same smell, that’s not the topper. After wiping down the restroom I head to the bed to check it hair was everywhere chocolate was on the floor hair under the cover and A EARRING. Very nasty smell room and situation. We stayed in my son’s room so we paid for nothing. I doubt if they give us our money back!

We were only here for a brief 12 hour stay. Air was thick and musty on 4th floor; once in our room, it was cooler but “damp”. Floors were wet (seeping), mold alongside door frame, and a paper sack that we brought with us was damp when we threw it away (within 30 minutes). Not sure was is going on climate wise in this room but not a comfortable experience.
