B&B BE in Brussels

Really nice room! Surprisingly big, especially for a European hotel. The bathroom is big, too, and the shower is huge! The toilet is in a separate area with a door that closes which is always nice. No elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor but, hey, have you actually lived until you've dragged luggage up multiple flights of stairs? It's the full Europe experience! I tried to contact the hotel ahead of time to ask about early check-in. I never got a response to the emails, and the phone number was always busy. I had booked this through a 3rd party, and when I still hadn't gotten check-in instructions the day before, I was sweating it a little that I was going to be stranded in an unfamiliar place with nowhere to stay. You don't really interact with staff at all. All of that said, I did receive check-in instructions the morning of, and everything worked as it should. It was just a perfect storm of being prone to anxiety, coupled with the fact that I couldn't reach anybody. You'll have access to a lobby where you can leave luggage if you arrive before the room is available at 4 pm. The lobby has some places to sit, snacks, and a bathroom. It's a quiet location and almost invisible. Very close to Grand Place and a metro stop. I stayed here as part of a multicity trip that included Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. Brussels doesn't seem to be as much of a tourist draw as the other two cities but don't count it out! If you're into middle ages architecture you'll love Brussels!

Great area to explore Brussels. Simple check in once details arrived, able to leave luggage if arriving early. Easy access to metro stations. Superb restaurants within walking distance. Quiet area. Minor downsides ... Tricky stairs to manoeuvre larger luggage, breakfast stock often low to zero, may of been other guests using all.

Great B&B, perfect location Amazing B&B, very clean, spacious rooms, in perfect location and has everything needed. The instructions were very clear and we didn't have any issues. Bear in mind, the stairs are very narrow, might be tricky for some

We just returned home after 2 wonderful nights at this B&B. It was a little difficult to find in an alleyway off the main street, but when we walked through the door, we were so happy we booked where we did. The B&B is very clean and inviting. Our bed was very comfortable, and the room was very spacious. There is a very narrow and steep staircase to access the rooms, so keep that in mind because this will definitely limit those who would be willing to stay here. Communication from the host (who lives in the basement) was excellent. Breakfast was good. The location of the B&B is so close to many great restaurants, attractions, and bars. We did notice that the B&B is up for sale and the owner said he was selling it and plans to move out of the country. In the meantime, before he moves, I would highly recommend staying at this B&B in Brussels while you have the opportunity to do so.

Great BnB in’s great location. Recommended. Quite a delightful find close to many restaurants, friendly night life and the main squares. Very clean with upstairs quarters offering a coffee pod machine and kettle with their necessaries. Plenty of space and very comfortable bed. Very kind and helpful host carried our suitcases up and presented us with the most generous breakfast downstairs in living quarters. Plenty of supplies here. Such a shame we could not stay longer. A short taxi trip to train station & airport

We had a lovely 3 night stay,the host was lovely and friendly and available if we had any problems. The location couldn't have been more perfect,in a lovely area close to loads of bars and restaurants which were very handy. It was only a 5-10 min walk to Grand Place and a 2 min walk from the metro. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of options available. Our room was a great size,the bathroom is open into the bedroom which is not a problem for couples but not somewhere I'd stay with a friend/relative because of this as it wasn't private. We'd definitely stay here again if back in Brussels!
