IMPORTANT : LOW CLEARANCE VEHICLES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED. Access to and from the home consists of a rough, gravel road with several low water crossings. If your pulling a trailer you will need 4wheel drive. Also, cell phone signal is spotty, depending on your carrier. We do have WiFi in the home and WiFi calling has been working well.

Located in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks, surrounded by natural beauty and breathtaking views, Buck Creek Lodge will provide visitors of all ages with an unforgettable adventure.
In the early 1980’s Buck Creek Lodge was converted from a barn into a house that served as a home for multiple generations of families. After a very extensive restoration was completed in 2021 this 2-story home became Buck Creek Lodge. The lodge provides 4 beds, and a sleeper sofa. There are two living areas, laundry facilities, a full kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, and almost endless outdoor area of exploration. Amazing unit. One of the best I have ever seen. Too bad I only stayed the night and left early the next day. A little hard to find, so be sure to arrive when it's still light outThe only thing is a VRBO problem. VRBO needs to streamline the check in process. The majority of the time I don't get the check in instructions and I have to call the owner to help me out. Thankfully, the host left the front door open for me. When I arrived, there was no cell reception

My adult son and I needed a well-deserved break. We brought our three well-behaved pups. Plenty of space to stretch, sniff, walk, run and so much fun to swim in Swan Creek just a short walk from the beautifully furnished cabin with every amenity possible, plus the fixings for breakfast and smores. Firepit was awesome. Gas grill was great. Only downside was well-water -- bring bottled water. No cell service (AT&T) but had internet access via WiFi provided. Krissy and Ben were wonderful and so friendly and accommodating. Sitting and relaxing on the front porch, listening to the birds and bees was so refreshing. WE SO VERY MUCH ENJOYED THE QUIET AND BEAUTY OF THE CABIN, THE AMENITIES AND PROPERTY. Looking forward to returning next year.

We had the best time. There is so much charm throughout this house. It was peaceful and cozy. Ben treated us like family with his kindness and generosity. Our kids loved playing in the creek and admired all the rocks. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this truly unique and timeless home.

The home is an amazing home! Decorated very well. But overall our favorite experiences at this home was our interactions with Ben. He’s the sweetest man! And took my husband down to the pond to show him where to fish and boy he was right there were TONS of fish in the pond. This was one of our favorite stays! 8 nights was not long enough.

Peace and quiet.
Was such a peaceful place to stay. Some great hiking right on the property. Ben was a great tour guide and let us know where to go hike. Was a nice touch to have a few groceries already there like milk, bread, eggs, and s’more supplies.

Will stay here again!
We recently stayed here after Christmas and unfortunately, had to return home 9 hours away after only one night because of an emergency with our daughter. They were very understanding and refunded most of our money. The place was so amazing and there were lots of little extras like milk, eggs, bread, sandwich supplies in the refrigerator and fresh baked molasses cookies. Was very glad that we brought my husband’s four-wheel-drive truck because of the road into the property. We have rescheduled to go back in the spring. I can’t wait to go back!

Heaven on Earth!!
I really struggled with giving this place 5 stars…only because if people realize how much of a gem this location is, it will be completely booked and we definitely plan on coming back!! Ben was so helpful and just a pure delight. We honestly can’t wait to come back!! 10 out 10 highly recommend!!
