I visited for an overnight stay for my partner's birthday, and we both loved it. We arrived for check in at 3pm, despite the option to access the grounds from 1pm, and really enjoyed the ability to free roam the castle and grounds. We had only booked for bed and breakfast but decided on the day to visit the restaurant for dinner as well. Both meals were excellent and it was nice to enjoy the view of the castle throughout. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy, despite being a "small" double it had plenty of space for an overnight stay, and was nice to overlook the courtyard. We opted to visit the castle without the audio guides, and then follow one of the preplanned routes on the map to explore the grounds. It wasn't a problem for us, but I wouldn't recommend the unpaved sections if you have mobility issues or unsuitable footwear. Not strictly related to the B&B, but we had planned to visit the golf course on the second day, but due to the dress code we unfortunately couldn't (both of us are novices- so don't have all the proper gear). It didn't detracted from a great stay, but it was a shame this wasn't more clearly outlined on the website, as we would perhaps have stayed on-site longer to see the other activities we didn't partake in on our first day such as the Birds of Prey show or Maze.

We stayed for one night in the Hutton room, at check in we were greeted by a friendly staff and she promptly checked us in. The room was comfortable and clean, a few marks on the carpet and lino bathroom. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay, the restaurant service and food was a lot better than expected from reviews. The motor show was that weekend, which was a great experience. Leeds castle is beautiful and well worth a visit and stay.

We just had an overnight stay at Leeds Castle. The staff as always were great! Always helpful and attentive! We stayed in the Stable courtyard B&B and the room was nice with a lovely view and a really good shower. It was so peaceful there (after the day trippers had gone).

Stayed for 2 nights as a birthday surprise for my husband. At check in we were greeted with by a very friendly helpful lady who gave us all the information needed regarding our stay. Our room (Kent) was very clean & overlooked the courtyard which could get very noisy with groups of student at tables directly below our room, luckily they moved on fairly quickly. Our other gripe was in the evening there was a very bright light outside our window which was on all night. A blackout roller blind behind the curtains would be a good idea maybe? I was going to mention this at checkout but there was a queue behind me so I didn't. The bar/restaurant staff we found were not very friendly apart from a young lad at breakfast both mornings. Very friendly helpful chap at the little train & also a chap within the castle. Overall a nice stay but probably one night would be enough if we were to return

Overall this is a lovely venue, in a fantastic setting and with amazing staff. The room Boudin was huge, and spotlessly clean. Access was relatively simple as was checking in. The reason for the 4 star review is that the subtitles didn’t work on the TV. Which isn’t a major problem for most people, but with a deafness affliction, this is a significant issue. Full credit to the staff who tried in vain to fix it, but it really did impact on the enjoyment of the stay. No alternative room was offered, which was disappointing and despite promises to get someone else to look at it, the problem remained over the two night stay. That was a shame as the rest of the place is pretty amazing.

A great overnight stay in a courtyard lodge. All the staff at Leeds Castle, the reception team, bar staff and grounds staff are exceptionally polite and helpful here. We got a great deal, real clue for money. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean with comfortable bed and a grest bath. Restaurant is good and breakfast delicious . Views of castle are fantastic. A peaceful beautiful location

Checked in Thursday 18th September (maybe my 15th stay) to have to check out within a hour due to, a very unfortunate circumstances of being informed my father had a stroke or heart attack. Hotel staff where very un- compassionate towards me especially carol who called out of the office to tell me I have lost my money for the hotel room and did I have my key. Following day I received an email from manage saying they couldn’t do anything for me even though I am a returning customer and gave me a £39 refund ( room cost £159) I never wanted a refund just asked them to move the booking to another day that suited them. They told me to use travel insurance which I didn’t have as most people wouldn’t have for a 1 night away. At no point even in the email or when I spoke to the manager did she once (Melissa) ask how I was or how my dad was. For a business who’s business is hospitality they wasn’t very hospitable. Terrible service , no basic human decency for a very stressful, sad and unforsesable situation.
