"The room was good and the large bed welcomed as my wife and I like to spread out at night so a big bed is essential. Facilities were good and standard of hotel was good for what we paid. The only negative were certain parts of the breakfast so 1. Orange juice tastes like it is watered down. 2. The bacon was over cooked and hard 3. Scrambled egg was very dry. 4. The fresh fruit was limited to tinned grapefruit and prunes so very 1970’s."

"Having stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions It was up to the usual standard comfortable beds clean room good bathroom etc. the food for breakfast was good when you could get it as it was busier than I have found it before and the kitchen kept running out of hot food. On the plus side the lady who was front of house for the breakfast did a good job while being runoff her feet all min all a good experience and oi will be going back again"

"We’ve been here quite a few times and generally always had a good meal. In particular they had a few gluten free dishes, including the fish and chips which was one of the best I’ve had. When we visited they had sold out of the haddock which I was really disappointed about. Not really many other GF options apart from steak or gammon. They used to do a lush Thai curry but this isn’t on the menu. They said they could do me some salmon with potatoes and veg, so agreed to that. The salmon was nice, however it was drowning in sauce and the veg was just leeks so not exactly what I thought I’d be getting. My partner said his burger was nice. But don’t think we’ll be going back again."
