"This is a hidden gem! Brissago with only 5 minutes away from Locarno and Ascona, is settled in a lush tiny bay. The hotel itself is adjacent to the water and built in a traditional italian landhouse style with an indoor and a large outdoor pool (and aircon everywhere). We had both breakfast, a large choice of fresh made individual items, and dinner with homemade italien delikatessen. Christian and Maria both made our morning and evening with their heartfelt service. We also got to meet the managment couple who seemed to be around all day long. We will be back and let me tell you my fellow americans: Skip Locarno and Ascona and Rest assured, Brissago has it all."

"From the hotel you are 10 minutes walk to the lake and the beach promenade. My room had a terrace with sea view. It is equipped with air conditioning. The single room is bright and modern. The big bed was very pleasant. The breakfast was beautiful and varied. The staff is very nice."

We would also like to thank Mohammed, Mario, Emanuele, and all the other colleagues for their exceptional hospitality, ensuring that everything was perfectly taken care of during breakfast and dinner. "We were very satisfied, beautiful apartment with a great view of the lake. The village and the lake promenade are very easy to reach on foot. Brissago is not so suitable for bike tours as the lake road is very busy. Nevertheless, our vacation was very nic"
