Wingate by Wyndham Brighton

Location: Many users mentioned the good location, such as being located in a nice town of Brighton with a great downtown area and a good location to where they were going

When checking in the receptionist was absolutely lovely. We proceeded upstairs to enter our room at which point we could not even cross the threshold. The smell was so disturbing! Went back to the front desk and they were apologetic and quickly relocated us. We entered the room and it all seemed OK upon first glance, but we were in a rush because we had other things to do in the area. We left our stuff behind and went about our business. When we went to return and actually Sit down for a minute in the room, we noticed how truly gross it was! I’m not even sure what was going on with the toilet seat. It was melted or something and just disgusting! The coffee table had all kinds of debris, stuck all around the sides of it! The couch had stains. We ended up having to run over to pick up some supplies and decontaminate enough to stay the night. We would have left and not even stayed if it were not for our daughter staying in another room with a friend for a birthday party sleepover.

We were able to get into our room a little early. We booked the 2 queen bed plus fold out couch. We loved that the couch was in a separate room between the bathroom and the main room with a separate TV. We didn't have time for the pool which was right outside our door!. Next time. Bath tub was slippery. The handrail saved me. The queen beds were a bit hard. Breakfast was about what every one has and clean and well stocked for my straggling trip close to close. All in all we liked it and are planning a return trip as we want to explore Brighton.
