I would recommend staying at the Divi Southwinds Beach Resort to anyone planning to visit Barbados. The resort is on the St. Lawrence Gap which is great for food and activities. The restaurant on the beach has a great ambience with a pool nearby. The Resort is clean, affordable and staff are friendly. I'll definitely be staying there again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Divi and we would definitely go back. It is in a fantastic location. Can easily walk to the Gap and all the restaurants there. We ate at the restaurant on site at Divi, Pureocean, and it was very good and so nice to be right on the beach. The beach was perfect. Perfect. We also loved that our room at Divi was like a little apartment with a separate bedroom and kitchen. It provided lots of space and also we were able to get a few groceries for the room. Saw some monkeys in the trees near the tennis courts. That was a nice surprise. The only downside to our trip was that we went there in October and it was quiet season so some things were closed/reduced service.

Everything was wonderful. The location and the beach are perfect. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need.

My girlfriend and I visited Divi in Oct 2025 for a staycation, the staff was always friendly and helpful, the restaurant was great, and the food was fantastic, the room was lovely, and it was overlooking the pool side, my parents will be visiting there in November 2025, i will surely recommend Divi Southwinds to my friends and family, i will be returning soon.

Nice and pieceful vacation. Weather was perfect 31-33C not too hot 'cos of winds. Almost no rain, few showers here and there I don't mind.

Good hotel that offers an all-inclusive food package if you're looking for one and if you're not, the rooms have a kitchen so you can make whatever meal you want. If you don't plan to cook on vacation, just take a walk on St. Lawrence Gap and check out all the restaurants and bars! Hotel has a pool and good wifi system. Rooms were clean and the front desk staff is very knowledgeable about the area and friendly.

Love this hotel! it was beautiful and so clean! The staff was wonderful! Left another hotel and made impromptu reservations at Divi and they were very accommodating and even gave us some complimentary cake and champagne to celebrate my daughter's birthday! What a pleasant surprise! We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back! We had a lot to do there to keep me and my 6 year old busy! 5 stars!
