Wingate by Wyndham Bridgeport/Clarksburg

Good place; however, somewhat outdated.

The beds are clean and very comfortable, the staff is professional and helpful. The problems I experienced as well as two other family members traveling to the area recently and choosing this hotel, are the televisions and the pool area. The TV's are new, however they do not work and even while trying to connect to basic antenna stations, did not work. My family and I stayed for 3 nights and each evening while trying to relax and get my two young children to settle, I was unable to access or navigate anything on the television. That is a listed amenity. The other thing that was not great is the pool area. Again an advertised amenity. Choosing this hotel with a pool is a major attraction. Unfortunately the pool area is not only heated as an indoor sauna, but our family we were visiting were not able to join us due to the extreme conditions. The pool was warmer than bath water and the entire pool area was almost suffocating.

Great location. Clean rooms. Plenty of restaurants near by. Easy to get on and off the interstate. Free breakfast. Fresh mountain air.

The room was very clean, bed and linens very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with a wonderful variety to choose from. Guest laundry was clean and easy to use. Parking was convenient and hotel had easy access to interstate and shopping

The hotels needs a complete overhaul. The dirtiest run, most run down establishment I've stayed. Multiple guests had multiple problems. Broken equipment, thing not cleaned properly. The woman working the front desk was at least nice. But as a rewards member and have stayed Wyndham before, I will now think twice before I book off the the Wyndham name alone.
