Magnificent alpine valley, and old mining / cowboy / prospector town. The folks at Silver Maple; nice lady took care of me. I failed to get a hotel the night before. Had to spend the night sleeping in the car . "Not fun"? Next day the nice lady at Silver Maple made up the room early so I could sleep. I'm most grateful? I was in pain and fried. Nice old fashioned hotel. Clean and convenient. The high Sierra pass is just down the road. All you old farts watch out for the altitude. It will do a number on you if you're not careful. Lots of water, and don't push too hard unless you stay a few days to acclimatize. Magnificent alpine , and ranch land, fish birds, wild life, awesome.

Not a lot of lodging choices in Bridgeport, but we'll be trying someplace else next visit. The rather rustic room was clean enough and convenient to downtown dining, but had some quirks. No nightstand on one side of the king bed (I made do with a small ice chest we had along), no place to plug in phone chargers (but the Wi-fi worked well), and most annoyingly was the 5 minute wait to get hot water in the shower. After that temperature varied between chilly and scalding.

Well priced motel in Bridgeport. Good central location and nice grounds. Motel is a bit dated, but comfortable with good beds.

Quaint motor lodge style motel. Very well maintained and friendly staff. Reasonably priced and a great value for the cost. Shower is small but good water pressure. The bathroom sink did not provide hot water however. Nice room and facilities. Would stay again if ever in the area again.

Lovely stay overall. The grounds are lovely and, although small, the room was lovely and clean. I was concerned about the size of the bathroom after reading reviews but we managed just fine. Would stay again. Very good for Yosemite.
