We have been here a few times and have enjoyed every meal. The menu is varied, good quality and the service friendly, particularly Jasmine, who is fabulous and whizz’s around, but always takes her time with customers. She seems to do 99% of the work. They are lucky to have you Jasmine!

Doesn't look the best from the outside but my room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Lunch one day and the breakfast the following morning were both excellent and good value for money.

I've used the F&G over many years. It's a decent independent hotel which has recently refurbished at least some of its rooms. If you're fed up of chains, try the F&G.

Lovely rooms above the pub. Very friendly staff. Good seats as well as comfy bed in the room. Nice hostess tray. Large car park. Close to the coast. They offer an express breakfast (continental) or a sit down breakfast which we paid for separately. Will be staying again when we visit family.

The room was nice, but we had a problem with both the front window not closing and a noisy hairdryer. However, when we told them at reception, the hairdryer was replaced for a better one and the window was fixed to our satisfaction. Overall, quite satisfied.
