"The room was clean and tidy. The guy who received us was very helpful. The mountain road was difficult to walk on. He carried our luggage up and down and was enthusiastic and patient. The key point is that the view from the room is particularly good. It is right next to the blue-domed church, which makes people queuing to take pictures very envious. However, although there are many people, it is quiet in the bustling city, and it is also very safe. The public security is very good. It is highly recommendedš"

"Hill Suites was better than we couldāve imagined. While the rooms were beautiful and clean, and location was perfect, the real star of the show was Marco (like many of the reviews before have said). Marco made us feel like old friends from the second we arrived. He is the most devoted host you will ever meet and has a great recommendation for anything you may need while in Santorini. GGuest UserThe service was great. They gave me a bottle of red wine and upgraded the room for free. The room was very clean and the breakfast should be good. Because we needed to leave at 6 o'clock to catch the ferry to Santorini, the hotel also thoughtfully prepared breakfast. It's really a great hotel with a good location. It's also close to the Acropolis on foot. It's probably a 10-minute walk from the subway.

GGuest UserLia was amazing! She is so friendly and helpful. If you ever want to hire a reliable employee with great customer service skills, look no further, Lia is your answer. My stay at Rocabella has been wonderful. When I arrived, Lia told me they had a special surprise for meā¦that my room was upgraded. I couldnāt believe it!
The daily housekeeping was great, they cleaned and tidy the room like I had not been there the night before. The breakfast options were unbelievable and delicious. You order your breakfast over the phone and the kitchen will deliver to your room within minutes. I was there late February, so it is not as busy as the summertime. So, things might be different during busy season. I will definitely recommend Rocabella to any of my friends and families that are going to Santorini.

GGuest UserThis hotel was once a unique gem run by Anna's mother and now run by her son. It has a history of more than 30 years and shows excellent service standards. During the off-season, the hotel provides guests with warm rooms with electric fireplaces and a reasonably priced airport drop-off service. Two 500 ml bottles of mineral water are provided in the room for free, and additional bottled water can be provided on request. The water pressure is stable, hot water is sufficient, and the bedding also exudes a fresh and clean smell. The only drawback is that the sound insulation inside the hotel is slightly insufficient, but fortunately the guests around are of high quality and have never made any noise, so the overall stay experience is still very pleasant.

The facilities are good, there is a jacuzzi.
The breakfast is delicious. I suggest you book it. In fact, you canāt find something to eat in the morning. Maybe I don't know how to find it, but the location is actually good. It will be more convenient if you rent a car, and there are shuttle buses everywhere.
But there are so many mosquitos in the rock room LoL

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the small town of Fira, which is convenient for travel. There are Chinese restaurants around, close to the blue-domed church, and not far from the beach. Unfortunately, there was an earthquake, so I dared not go to the town of Ira, nor to the beach. The scenery on the island is still very good, and I experienced a less crowded tour.

GGuest UserWe arrived earlier in the day & asked if we could do early check in. We were told that the room we have booked isnāt available early, so we could upgrade to another room & get early check in option. We agreed. When we checked in the room didnāt look like any upgrade, as it was pretty basic. Also, if these are how most of the rooms are, they arenāt great. The room had a stair to go āupā where a tiny bed was places, and the ceiling was so low that even a 5-foot height tiny person like me would bump her head. The stairs arenāt too safe, so if you have to walk down in the middle of the night to use the bathroom below the bed area, you better be fully awake & cautious if your steps.
Shower didnāt work properly with hot/cold water. I couldnāt wash my hair, had to quickly get out of the shower.
I would have preferred, if they just told us there was an extra charge for early check in.
In case Iām wrong, and this room was indeed an āupgradeā then I donāt know what the basic room will be. Canāt imagine what would be even lesser. Maybe no window / balcony.
The swimming pool was closed, probably because it was still cold when we went.
The property looks nice though, itās just 10 mins taxi ride from the city square. The rooms have a balcony & peaceful view as there arenāt too many buildings around.
Itās quite & clean. Just that the rooms are too basic & the tiny bed in tiny space was uncomfortable for two people to sleep in. It was claustrophobic for me. Couldnāt sleep well, couldnāt bathe well. But I did enjoy sitting in the balcony & sipping my tea in peace.

AAnonymous UserThe location is a little bit out of the city centre, however it is a walkable distance. Luggage storage is available, but it may be better to communicate with them earlier. On the day of check in, there is a form for you to choose your breakfast. There is a lot of options for breakfast. And breakfast will deliver to your room at the time that you chose. There is kitchen in the room with hob. Also a changing room with a tall mirror in the room. However, the room looks a little bit old, maybe this is how cave house look like. The hotel separated to 2 buildings. Swimming pool is available in both buildings. There is a window that is not covered on top of my shower area and it is unreachable.

LLmx_cnI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for travelers looking for convenience and great service. The location is excellentāright next to the Fira central bus station, which makes it the perfect hub for exploring all parts of Santorini. Just a short walk away, thereās a lively street full of food stalls and local snacks.
Although the hotel does not have a 24-hour reception, they are very accommodating. I informed them in advance about my late-night arrival due to a delayed flight, and a staff member kindly stayed up to wait for me until 1:00 AM. The hotel provides a secure main entrance with a passcode lock, so even if you return late at night when the reception is closed, you can still enter easily and safely.
Upon check-in, I received a detailed welcome card that explained everything I needed to know about the stay, including the Wi-Fi password, breakfast hours, and checkout instructions. The self-serve breakfast was simple but just right for meāserved in a clean and comfortable dining area.
What really stood out was the staff. No matter who was on duty, they were always warm, welcoming, and ready to help. Their kindness made the stay even more pleasant.
Overall, considering the comfort, location, and service, this hotel offers great value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

swimming pool sometimes is closed, sometimes it is opened, they do not have a fixed schedule which is a bit annoying if you are really into using the pool. the pool is big and it has a nice view.
location is perfect, 10 minutes from the bus station, in the center, on the cliff with a great view of the volcano
