Dunajský Pivovar (Dunaj Brewery&Hotel) on Tyršovo Nábrežie is an excellent botel that has a brilliant brewery and restaurant that offers a superb food and drinks range and it's located on the Danube river. Its a brewery/restaurant and hotel thats all located in a brilliant moored ship and it's a great place to have a tasty meal or a beer from there superb brewery.What a location for a brewery/restaurant and hotel and me and my twin brother enjoyed our visit as it's a place that ticks all the boxes for us as it's located in an amazing setting. We visited here early in the afternoon on a freezing cold day in November and what a unique setting to sample there beers.When we visited we had a few of there beers that were unbelievably good and were on a par price wise with other establishment's in this city that offered there own brewed beer or craft beers. It's a superb brewery/restaurant and hotel that located in a very unique setting and is well worth a visit if your around this superb area of Bratislava.(This is my first review of Dunajský Pivovar (Dunaj Brewery&Hotel). Opening Hours. Monday-Closed. Tuesday-Wednesday-12.00-22.00. Thursday-Friday-12.00-23.00. Saturday-11.00-23.00. Sunday-11.00-18.00. Hours May Differ From Above. Public Transport. Tram Stop. Fantastic Botel with stunning views of the castle & bridge. The host didnt speak great English but was great at ensuring we had all the information we needed for our short stay. The room smelt amazing & was very clean. The bed was super comfy and the view from the room was just perfect 👌 glad we chose here for our little Brataslava extreme trip.

Good stay.
Comfy and cosy room, good view of the water from the room we had called the Budapest. close to a few attractions like the UFO tower.
The Light Beer is amazing!! Super easy to drink and tasty!

When we arrived, they seemed surprised to see us. There was some confusion about which room was ours, even though there were NO other guests on board. We were then shown to our room and told that the brewery and restaurant would be closed for the duration of our stay, and that there would be no hotel staff there, because they were technically closed. We were instructed to just leave our keys on the desk when we left. We asked if there were any restaurants close by that were open, since we had just spent 6 hours on a train and almost an hour on a bus/walking to get there. We were told one of the boats next door might be open, but they weren’t sure, and just use google maps. We were literally the only 2 people on the boat for our whole stay. This is not only unprofessional, but it is so unsafe to leave two foreigners to fend for themselves. The phone system wasn’t working, no WiFi available, the drain in the shower was clogged and not working properly, we couldn’t turn the heat down, so it was almost 80° in our room, and we ran out of toilet paper. I can see how it would be a decent place to stay if it was open and staffed properly, but our stay was definitely not good.

Loved the uniqueness of this botel also being a brewery. One staff member in particular was brilliant, but others wee also good. Food and beer were great, thoroughly recommend this place, would love to come back.

What a wonderful stay at the Botel Dunajský Pivovar! I arrived at the wrong entrance to the bar/ restaurant instead of the Botel reception, but they were still very accommodating and called the host who gave me a tour around the Botel and showed me to the room. The room was ideal right of the River with a beautiful view of the castle, its only a short walk to the UFO tower and bridges to link you to the other side. Lovely restaurants nearby and a great bar on the boat itself, which is separated and soundproofed to the Botel portion very cleverly done and it was an amazing stay, I would recommend it!
