A very nice hotel. Our room was spacious enough for two people. The dinner was colorful and probably delicious, although it was difficult to appreciate due to our different taste preferences. The fish and steak were excellent. We only stayed at this place for one day, but it would take several days to fully experience and immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of this place.

There is only one drawback. The soundproofing equipment is a bit poor. There are two floors of accommodation. I live on the ground floor, and there is a lot of walking noise upstairs starting at 5 o'clock in the morning.
Everything else is good, there are two separate hot springs, and tattoos are OK.
It's 8 minutes away from the hot spring bus station. There is a slope to walk up. The clerk was really good and considerate. It was the same girl throughout the whole process and she spoke fluent English. Even when we went out to watch the snow at 5 o'clock in the morning, they would care about us at the door and wait for us to come back. They were very considerate and worried that we would be in danger if it snowed too early. In addition, the breakfast and dinner were also rich and filling.

We had an amazing stay at Arimasansoh Goshobessho! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, with a warm and friendly welcome. The hotel & rooms itself are incredibly comfy and cozy, with a warm, intimate atmosphere and a delightful wood scent that adds to its charm.

The amenities were excellent, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a relaxing experience. The breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations (very good French toast, and onion soup) such a great way to start the day!

A special thank-you to the hotel staff for their kindness and efficiency in returning the Apple Watch we accidentally left behind—it was much appreciated!

Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

I encountered cherry blossoms and trains at Gora Station, which were a perfect match. The hotel sent Alpha to pick me up at the station. With 40 rooms, I could see more than a dozen waiters, all of whom were kneeling to serve.

As the second most expensive hotel this time, the open-air bath is a must, and the service is also in place. It is in the mountains, and there is nothing around, but the dinner is so rich and delicious.

I think it's one of the top ryokans in Japan. Everything was top notch: warm and kind service, delicious dinner and breakfast, variety of indoor and outdoor baths and, of course, amazing traditional style building, perfectly decorated and great for exploration. Here my dream came true!
