Location, location, location! Hotel located just inside Namba Center. And Lawson just downstair of hotel. 
Enjoyed the complimentary access to guest lounge with free flow of drinks/alcohol & snacks, + pancakes.
Also free laundry service with detergent. And free vacuumed pack service if you have a lot things to bring home.
And free storage for luggages, and free rental of umbrellas during the rainy days.
Downside: rundown room with smelled carpet. 
But overall still great experience.

Hotel Universal Port is absolutely unbeatable for its location! Seriously, the perfect score is purely for the location!!!

The room isn't particularly large, but that seems pretty common in Japan. However, I later found out that InterContinental rooms are super spacious, so in comparison, this one feels a bit too ordinary, haha. A thoughtful touch was the hotel providing amenity kits and skincare products! Though the toothbrush was a bit stiff – good thing I usually bring my own.

The best part is how incredibly close it is to Universal Studios Japan! When it's hottest and you're most tired in the afternoon, you can easily pop back to the room to rest and recharge, then head back into the park re-energized. Super convenient! Anything you buy can also be sent directly back to the hotel, so you don't have to lug heavy bags around while you're enjoying yourself.

Hotel amenities are also very handy: there are vending machines on every floor, and a microwave for heating food. The convenience store downstairs has a great selection, and the subway station, along with plenty of dining and entertainment options, are all nearby. It really takes the hassle out of things!

This time of year, the room can get a bit humid without the air conditioning on, so I recommend keeping both the AC and air purifier running continuously. From the room, you can even see the queues forming at the Universal Studios entrance and the roller coasters. It's quite entertaining.

Oriental Express Shinsaibashi boasts an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to Shinsaibashi Station, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The rooms, though small, are clean and tidy, featuring POLA toiletries and comfortable bedding. The free WiFi and coffee bar are thoughtful touches, and the front desk staff are warm and welcoming. While breakfast options are limited, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. It offers great value for money and is perfect for independent travelers!

the staffs are very accomodating and they will welcome you with a warm smiles and greetings from morning to evening. the dinner buffet and breakfast buffet are so good that my family enjoyed so much! the view and the ameneties are very good for the price! thank u for allowing my family of 4 to stay in your double bed without adding any fee! ❤️ we’ll sure be back again soon!

I highly recommended this hotel, madali din sya ma access. madali din sila kausap kasi nagpalipat ako ng room ung may mayon view. that why I really satisfied, saka di ka mababasa ng ulan once nag papick sa grab kasi covered ung lobby 👍👍👍

This is a wonderful hotel to stay while in Kobe.  It is just next to Kobe Harborland and Kobe Port Tower.  The room we had comes with a private balcony offering a spectacular view of the harbour.  The room is clean, comfortable and has full amenities.  The hotel provides bus shuttle service to and from Sannomiya Station.  There is also a Family Mart located at the lobby where you can buy snacks, drinks and other additional amenities.  Hotel is also walking distance from a Starbucks which opens at 7:30am should you need to get your coffee and the famous BE KOBE sign.  Highly recommended.
